    Great info on making one of these motors fit into a tight space. My kit came with a heavy duty mounting plate that just wouldn't work with the frame I want to use. I ordered one of the lighter ones from BikeBerry that should do the trick. One comment -- I hope you're going to put some brakes on this thing before you ride it. The frame and fork are drilled for sidepulls, which aren't as good as direct pulls or discs, but far better than a single coaster brake. Those things will send you into a skid on a panic stop every single time.

    I ran into the same exact issue with the choke clearance. I had to make some modifications in the height of the lever. It all worked out eventually. But basically I had to shorten it.

      were you able to use the heavy duty mounting plate or did you have to use the one he used in the video?

    • @edwardbeierlein2587
      @edwardbeierlein2587 Před rokem

      I do not use the heavy duty engine mount because it lacked the adjustment that I needed to actually lower the engine.

    i wish there were more racing parts for the 4 strokes like there are for the 2 strokes. The master volt cdi that goes on a 2 stroke needs a 4 stroke variant.
