Gordy Mackenzie Jump up is sort of its own version of drum and bass. Drum and bass varies and although a lot of it appeals to a mainstream audience, there are also other forms of drum and bass that appeal to a smaller percentage of the audience, such as jump up. Like with hardcore/hard-style, there are different forms of the same genre such as ‘happy hardcore’ for example. Hope this helps.

Jump up is usually more hardcore, liquid is more chill, jungle is more reggae
