He misplayed like crazy to go for the e50 while his leopard pta was still alive, if he just went for the jadgtiger you would save hit points and also eliminate the crossfire.
The funny thing is, the E-50 is a player with 46% wins after 24k battles - QB thought they would never charge across the open field as it would be suicide, but the tomato brain goes brr and he does just that. The JT seems to be a new player with only 3k battles, which might be why they drove into the middle of the map and boldly chased QB around.
Looking at E-50 guy some more, pretty much all of his games are in German meds, with the notable exception of 7.5k E-25 games :o He has played over 4k games in the E-50.
Crazy -- that in this case not being very good at WoT in the standard sense caused them to play very well in this specific situation
Playing better usually means to stop playing risky, and having a certain strategy to be more consistent, so usually are predictable
Humans learn, animals can learn, even plants react, but someone with 24k battles and 46% WR doesn't learn, doesn't react.

A turn toward the buildings on the right instead of going toward dip would have given you a better advantage on the e50. Giving up the elevation to enemy tanks was that early killer.

This tank actually got me to leagues in ranked battles. Somehow I managed to just absolutely print out the damage in this tank. And it’s great for picking up kills and mopping up end game.
Every game I meet this tank I forget that it has 4 and not 3 shells in the loader - always leading to uncalculated and agonizing death.
I remember watching this on your stream QB, still was one tense game.

this was my first T10 tank. really enjoyed it with a turbo for the speed and nearly 42 camo while moving. i have 2000 battles so im not so expirienced but was good fun!

From my experience Progetto 65 was one of three Meta Tanks in last ranked season with stb1 and leopard1. Fieldmods really helped this tank to be fun to play again!

@@derkaiser9881 he didn't just hold down w he pressured him and followed in a decisive pattern to light him up at every opportunity to keep the pressure up so the e50 had the opportunity to put pressure on the cap. He could have easily camped and tried to snipe or followed the same path in an attempt to catch him or played more passively to save his own hit points he quite obviously traded his hp for time for the e50.

Double stack with coated optics if you dont have a good crew and food! If you do have a decent crew and food, switch optics for vents.

Vents and Vertical Stabilizer are a no-brainer. For the third equipment consider this:
Scouting Setup
If your view range is less than 445m, use Coated Optics. If it is at least 445m use Commander's Vision System on the optional field modification Scouting slot (as Quickybaby recommended in the video).
When Scouting is Unnecessary Setup: Use field mods to make an alternate setup (example: for Himmelsdorf)
Instead of Coated Optics or CVS, use whatever you like. I recommend either Turbocharger, Improved Configuration, Improved Aiming, or Improved Rotation Mechanism.

It's crazy how different play styles help you win in certain situations. And in others, it's your downfall.
I would always go for resetting the base first... deal with the tank in the base and then deal with the other slower tank... reason... when you have very few seconds to reset the base... you cannot chose the spot to approach carefully... you just rush... and most probably get killed like this... anyways good game QB...

0:38 WG nerfed the Pro 65 because it saw that players stopped grinding the line and want another tier 10 to be the most overpowered so player would grind/pay for that.

The Jagdtiger did the correct play. They are putting pressure on you to deal with them first. Basically wasting your time and letting their teammate cap.
Was it greedy to commit to the arty in that game? I would have save the arty to last unless you had vision on them in the centre and could remove them without expending all of that time. Since the nerf to arty; they are just an RNG machine that could sometimes be lethal.
I see the Jagdtiger as a player that respected you for sitting in bush so close to them and holding your shots until @07:35

QB, even on the best case scenario where as you predicted E50 is playing passively and stay at those building complex I don't think the result would turn up well. In the case where E50 is staying there, there are some bushes at the entrance of the buildings that he could use to spot you while you are traveling there -- and while Jagdtiger armor is now already obsolete the gun is still very powerful. 560 alpha that reloads in 8-9 seconds with 0.3 acc and 1200m/s shell velocity is no joke, and if you are spotted while you are traversing to the apartment I'm sure JT and E50 could kill you with no problem as Leopard is already stuck in a very bad position there and can't assist you.
I believe the best bet would be going to E2 (or somewhere around that depending on JT position) and quickly clip him to death, as he was stuck in the open with no cover whatsoever. Doing so will let you fight him without threat from E50 and let you have free reign on killing arty later since E50 still need to dip into a river and kill Leopard. Sure, arty could shot you, but so could he if you charge to building complex (unless E50 is being stupid and retreating deep inside the building and did not spot you -- and I believe betting that people will do a stupid move is just not a reliable idea).
I didn't know you could mount 3 gunrammers on the JagdTiger to get it's reload down to 6 sec! Truly amazing stuff!!

Clipping the jagdtiger would be hard though since he had 1754 hp. Trying to outplay him with the 1st shell and then clip maybe(hoping for no arty hit)? Then again staying in E2 getting unspotted keeping crossfire also seems logical(hoping for mistakes and keeping some vision on jagdtiger)

Actually what you suggest (retreat a bit and play passively) is also what I'm going to personally do, as brawling is actually my weakspot so I'm more confident in just hoping that the enemy would do a mistake instead (which might actually work, given that E50 decided to rush anyway and there's a chance you could just kill him while he's rushing)

That would have been the right thing, Sure the Leo would die but he was dead anyway. It was a massive misplay to go after the E50 and put himself in a crossfire. Their's no excuse for it

When you are put in a 1 vs many situation, you would still panick (no matter how small or big of a panick it is) and become unable to think rationally sometimes. It mostly stems from pressure when you see the enemy does something unpredictable or if you see that they are a decent to good player and that thwarts your plans in mind.
This was my thought as well

Progetto is the worst tank to have to deal with as a Heavy tank imho :( I hate seeing them when I'm pushing a line. Also QB, I was wondering if you might be able to make the top 10 credit earning tank videos again (Preferably Non-Premium tanks since I feel premium tank players don't run into many credit issues.) As always, its a ton of fun watching everything you post and I greatly appreciate all the improvements you have helped me make over the years!

Hey QB! I want to give a personal tip to improve your progetto, equipment wise i use turbo, vert stabs and vents. With this build you can go at 70km/h and i find it very useful because the progetto imo is like a hit and run kind of tank. Field mods wise i don't have them all, but for now i'm using niether of the second one, for the fourth i use the suspension arm tuning and the fith the turbocharger tuning (so i can go 28km/h backwards!!!). I don't have the seventh and eighth field mods, but i think the breech tweaking is mandatory as makes the DPM better and imo the Progetto is not a damage burst tank so taking away some dispersion is not the end of the world. For the eighth idk what to chose because i don't want to make my progetto slower but niether blind. What are your suggestions? Any tips for that? If you read this comment i'll let you know that i'm a great fan and i love your content
I'm a 52% WR player at best and yet I have a 57% WR on NA and 55% WR on EU in this tank. Add to that, my overall tier X WR is buried in the mid 40s. I never played this tank before the nerf so don't know how OP is was previously, but just from my results, it has proved itself to still be one of the best tanks in the game.

i use this tank often its probably one fo my favorite tier ten tanks idk why i gues sbecasue its fast and has a good autoloading system instead of teh wait 40 seonds for a full clip..so you can wait for a full clip or not. unforutnaly i just got it after its supposed nerf so i dont know what it was like ebfore then but its nto bad now..at a range the aim can be terrible at times maybe its just my mindset or the rng thing implemented but shells can be wildly off target at a distance
I have so bad experience with this vehicle. So many times a did only a half of the clip...because that shots were going where they want
You have to use equipment to improve aiming and dispersion because the nerfs killed what was a very accurate tank. I use vents, vert stab, improved aiming, good crew, crew skills to emphasize aiming, and I can get almost back to what it was like before the nerfs for accuracy. For long distance play, this is key.
I always lose the games where i do 7-8k damage too. Not that I have many lmao

think about if you didnt fire that arty 2 times, the jag didnt shoot u, ofc u saved hp, but that means you didnt fire the jag back, that means he was 4/5 shots
and ur prog is only 4 shots maxed ( so you would NOT have killed him at the stairs) (means no time to decap the e50)

As much as I laughed at the Rhm Pzw comment, I cant let him fool you. The best lights are the T100 lt, EBR 105 and Manticore, they all have different roles, T100 is a mix of the later being able to be passive but has a troll armour layout that can bounce shots while active scouting, EBR 105 is unique the wheeled vehicle is basically OP when u learn how to use it and with a good crew since he has a lower view range to incentivise active scouting, the Manticore is the polar oposite, the whole line is small tanks with a weak gun with great cammo and view range, best example is comparing to the ELC even 90 ur role is to be an invisible scout that stays in a bush and spots for the team, Im currently grinding the EBR and the line is fun tricky tanks to get used to but they used the most in Clan Wars and Advances

I played it before and still play the tank whenever i feel like booting up World of tanks again and every time i play it seems impossible to do badly with it.
It's really easy to do at least 2-3k dmg every game. However, this tank is not cheap to play. since WG decided to completely obliterate this tanks gun handling and accuracy you have to spec into gun handling with everything you got to make up for it. Vents and accuracy module are a must, and i think i also have vertical stabiliser on it. I also always use food and got a brothers in arms crew.
