- Hi Guys,
Today we went to Whitemoor Lakes in South UK. This is a day ticket venue that contains Roach, perch, bream, Carp, tench and a few other species.
This was my third time fishing the lake and Mike's 1st time, we were not sure on how to approach the lake so we tried a variety of different methods including pop ups, wafters, sweetcorn, maggots on a float and my personal favourite Stalking!

Nice, I guess you don’t have to stay on the same swim then like if some are free you can wonder about and stalk ? Might go on Saturday
There was a few swims free so I bounced between 3 swims, didn’t fish all 3 at once, once I left one it was anyone’s that wanted it! :)
Carp Fishing Adventures UK yer that’s what I meant that’s cool at least you can still move about stalking if swims are free :) 🎣
Yeah man, Great Lake, was quite busy when we went there.... :) get there early if I were you, I was there at half 7 and there was already people set/setting up

I’m new to fishing mate, when surface fishing do u just tie ur hook to ur mainline mate?
I do bud, a few people use surface controllers but I like being more direct, size 8 curv shank or mixa hook and that’s all:)

Just a size 8 KORDA MIXA hook and bread buddy:)
