Not all the slaves were taken from their homes; there were slaves that *remained* in the motherland too. The tribes would fight with one another and then sell their POW (amongst others), to the colonisers who had come under the guise of ‘trade’. Everybody black came from Ham, period.       I don't understand the speech.. Who's not calming to be African heritage. God bless the mom and powerful words.. however Burna Boy or his Mom doesn't make me an African, my Ancestors do.. Another African telling me i am African, is nice, but it means nothing..       I like Aya Nakamura's music. My wife loves her too. But, Burna Boy crossed over way faster than everyone else in that category these past two years. Aya would be second and Dosseh would be 3rd or 4th. If that kid , MHD ( France) wasn't incarcerated, he'd probably be a recipient too.
