This exclusive cinematic from the Xbox Magazine Discs Demos contains a recovered video from The House of the Dead 3 from the Xbox Trial. Although there are videos of this intro, most of them were shot from old hardware and a long time ago.
This video features the same video in high quality, including am unofficial medley from the game's main theme and an altered chapter 1 song. And as the thumbnail, also featuring a never before seen title card!

I just realized in G,s text, they mentioned the 2003 incident before the release of HOTD4, did they thought ahead 😅 and the apocalypse happened on that year, but in scarlet dawn the world is normal 3 years after HOTD 4? 🧐
I wouldn't be surprised if they actually planned the whole story during the early 2000s. After HOD4 they stopped working on the series consistently, so maybe that's why Scarlet Dawn feels a bit out of place with the setting in the story

There seems to be multiple iterations of this video. I've seen another one where some of the scenes were even more different, and the gun muzzle fire texture was completely red looking.
Idk if Lisa getting injured was just place holder or they initially intended Lisa to get injured.

Skeleton zombie, muscle zombie and two fat zombies running after you at 1:22 which is exactly not used in the final game either
I may be a bit late but I love the use of Hotd2 advertise motif.
I wonder if the directors told Ms. Sakurai (the composer) if HOD2 was somehow related or linked to HOD3. The first level makes reference to the Advertise from the previous game.
But we shall never know...

What I did was research where this footage came from, which was from the Official Xbox Magazine Demo Disc #13. What I did was extract it from the files, which is completely fine if it's for preserving lost media.
I thought the PC Trial version would include this video, but it was not even from the files. So I had to look for an online ROM from this disc

True. For a sec, I thought the shading was just not finished, but looking at it closer, the cel shading is definitely there

So reading the text for Lisa's background it calls her 'Fanny' at one point. Possible alternate/codename for her? Could have been a potential change due to the use of the word in english slang 😂

I found a scarlet dawn arcade the other day, man it was such a disappointment
Unfortunately, the cabinets in the US are worn off and not taken care of, like in Japan. So if you had performance issues mid game, it might be the gpu of the machine being too old.

I see. One thing I was dissatisfied with was the story, but I loved the gameplay, and every time you get multiple headshots at a time feels so satisfying!
