Love how most of the episodes have a "all the guys interview ashley at the same time and give her scenarios" section its giving only sister in a family with a lot of brothers
I get her point about being open to an extent even in a situation-ship, I don't like flings but regardless if a question or issue arises, communication is still important. situation or real relationship's people enter them because they want to feel something. Lets get it straight.
For me, I think 'Situationships' arises when everyone is traumatized with the experience & idea of the pros & and cons of commitments.
Like in terms of
- financial stuff when dating;
- deep feelings, being lovey-dovey from start then when things got messup they drift away;
- have to show reassurance, like everytime;
- not being able to casually socialize with other people without strict boundaries
And so on...
Like, people like the idea of Relationship in a surface level of being in love without the commitment part of it that draws the lines of boundaries and rules which is naturally applies in a serious commitmented relationship (which I think is a natural things/terms when your in a relationship - this why there's a difference with a girlfriend/boyfriend from a girl friend/ boy friend )
In Situationships no one is bound to do things for each other, everything comes in freedom to do things when they feel like it. Unlike in Relationships/Commitment/Labeled relationships, somehow well it depends for everyone, like they have that unwritten rules/things that each other is bound to do or not to do whether they sincerly like it or not, or whether they agrees to or not.

Harry is suchh an interesting character honestly😆 I do notice his genuine sincerity tho every time he's back on the show, even since his first few ep, when he'd mention countless times that he keeps up with it; i think it's quite humbling of his character. I look forward to his witty insights and 'Harry's Situations' as sth i'd later brainstorm about with friends and enjoy. They remind me somewhat of Tablo's podcast which i loved. Cant wait to see more of the GetReal fam in future and wishing them a healthy year ahead ofcc!!

Friends with Benefits, from the words itself 'benefits' means either both of them or one of the parties involved gets something from the other parties that comes of from being in a relationship with them. (Either or most commonly is sexual desire and many other things)
Open Relationship, from the word itself also 'open', means both parties are in a bounded Relationship but they're Open to socialized without rules/terms that restrict them. And they have that one Bounded/Committed Relationship where they could go back when things isn't fun anymore or if things get messy with other parties.
Situationships, is from the word itself also 'situation', means the parties involve were just in a situation type of case, there's no label that could put them or bound them to be called In-a-relationship. More of like Freedom and not just being Open (like open to everything but there's a solid backup relationship to go back). Freedom is where you could do anything and be with everyone without being bounded with anyone. There's no solid backup relationship to go back, there's no unwritten terms/rules to be cautiously be aware of when socializing with anyone, everything is more just on the surface level of being in love or having affections with someone (like the lovey-dovey things when your in love and not the serious type of things).
And in Situationship, it's also like hooking up with every one you've like then testing the water if this person or that person is better to be with before choosing one instead of being friends with them then developing feelings or geting emotionally attached (maybe to avoid being in friendzone too~) And maybe that's why they could casually become friends if things didn't workout for them in that 'situationship' level. Because everything is casual like on a surface level nothing is to be taken seriously on a deeper level, so they could cutoff that line (the boundaries of being friend or being lover) easily without looking back of how the parties spend that 'situation'-ship time, coz there's no wasted time coz you're hooking up with everyone until you found what you really like or want or until you really want a serious commitmented relationship.

I wanna say situationships aren’t an agreed upon thing. It’s more like you “get together” but it wasn’t stated, you just kinda do similar one on one things together as a couple, but nothing is defined for months. -nothing then gets progressed and it’s been so long like 2-4 months of you doing this that it becomes awkward to define the relationship. And it becomes a situationship.
It’s definitely not something you define and then go on a trial for a month. It’s happens between usually two people who know each other, they are somewhat romantically interested in each other, they “get together” and they never define the relationship and then months later one of them or both of them by themselves are kinda wondering what they are.
