There are such things as "beginner" platforms. How about creepers? They have plats 2-3 inches tall, and not too much height on the heel. Anything with a fairly flat footbed will work to start with, don't put so much weight on the ball of the foot at first. (Jan Griffiths).
I really liked my Killstar shoes, actually over my Demonia in terms of them being more functional and comfortable. The demonia are a wedge heel type and they look SICK but after 4-5 hours my feet are dead. The Killstars, not heeled like that, feel like normal shoes!
Thats so true! I dont know what kinda technology killstar uses, but i once tried on some buckled shoes they felt so good, lightweight and as if they were moving with my foot as i walk🤯

It's the opposite for me 😅 my killstar boots have a wedged heel and my demonias keep my feet flat. Obviously depends on the style you buy from either company. But, the wedged platform KILLS my toes after walking for awhile 😂

I personally really recommend doc martens platforms for a first type of platform boots since their platforms arent that big and doc martens will last you longer than demonia which usually break around the heel (i have the sainclair which are approximately 5cm) , and im planning on buying demonia ashes-55

i got buffalo butterfly sneakers and absolutely loved them. comfortable and amazing looking. wore them everyday in all conditions. despite paying 100€, they didnt even last a year. saw later on a reddit post of someone's buffalo shoes having the same rip in the shoe's sole as mine :/

The shaker 52 is a great choice as first pair, and at least like that you know that you defo wear them and that the money is well spent if u wore the other ones for 6 months!

Well i can say generally the shaker platform is very comfy to me, ofcourse there are always odd ones that are maybe different, but as they dont have anything special added to them i think either one is gonna be amazing😻 i just heard that the shaker 65 are tight for people with bigger calves!

Id go for your regular size and then put an insole! The reason why many people feel like they are big is actually cause they are very wide (loooots of space in the front, hence why i put an insole) so yeah and if u are a half size then id probably size up :)
Im planning on buying my second platform shoes, my first ones were the swing ones (102 i think) and for me is really really hard to walk in them. I wanted to take the "kera 08" from demonia, everyone say that they are comfortable but im scared that i will fall 😭 Also i liked the "shaker 32" i think and they are tall the same and it doesnt look like the platform is the same, so i thought that i would take some less tall shoes so i considered the slackers or the dollie but everyone said they were uncomfortable. I really like the sprite 02 model. Also im scared that if the platform its too tall and without ankle support i'll die. Do you recommend any demonias under the knee (if possible) easy to walk so with a not too big platform?
Well i can tell you, the kera & shaker platform are very easy and very comfortable to walk in, they are very wide so it is almost impossible to fall in them unless you are doing some crazy gymnast acrobatics in them🤣 i have some emily platforms they are very comfy too but they are also not that tall. Dont wooorrry you got this! Shaker 52 is my go to haha!
What kind of platforms do you suggest for concerts? I’m going to a concert and I’m in the pit and I’m supper short 5’2. I’m only trying to spend around 80 but yeah. Hottopic has some but a lot of the comments I’ve seen talk about how the boot was falling apart literally after 2 or 3 days of use.
Hmmm its s kinda tough one, i do recommend like a flare platform so there is little hazard of tripping in them , something like the kera platfrom from demonia or the yru qozmo 2 flare platform

Hey, I want to get the Demonia Shaker-100 so bad but I‘ve never worn any platform shoes before. Do you think it’s a good Idea to buy them as a beginner? Are they comfortable? I also wanted to ask you if I should get a size up when I want to order Demonia Shoes?
Heyy absolutely, like i said in the video the shaker platform is suuuper comfy and i find it to be true to size (i even wear an insole in them so my feet dont wiggle around cause its quite wide in the front) ❤️

Well i can say generally the shaker platform is very comfy to me, ofcourse there are always odd ones that are maybe different, but as they dont have anything special added to them i think either one is gonna be amazing😻 i just heard that the shaker 65 are tight for people with bigger calves!

Hey, would you recommend sizing up or down for the shaker 52s? I’ve heard mixed things about it so far :)
Id go for your regular size and then put an insole! The reason why many people feel like they are big is actually cause they are very wide (loooots of space in the front, hence why i put an insole) so yeah and if u are a half size then id probably size up :)

Im planning on buying my second platform shoes, my first ones were the swing ones (102 i think) and for me is really really hard to walk in them. I wanted to take the "kera 08" from demonia, everyone say that they are comfortable but im scared that i will fall 😭 Also i liked the "shaker 32" i think and they are tall the same and it doesnt look like the platform is the same, so i thought that i would take some less tall shoes so i considered the slackers or the dollie but everyone said they were uncomfortable. I really like the sprite 02 model. Also im scared that if the platform its too tall and without ankle support i'll die. Do you recommend any demonias under the knee (if possible) easy to walk so with a not too big platform?
Well i can tell you, the kera & shaker platform are very easy and very comfortable to walk in, they are very wide so it is almost impossible to fall in them unless you are doing some crazy gymnast acrobatics in them🤣 i have some emily platforms they are very comfy too but they are also not that tall. Dont wooorrry you got this! Shaker 52 is my go to haha!

I love the shaker platform its super comfy and not super tall (i think camels are taller)
What kind of platforms do you suggest for concerts? I’m going to a concert and I’m in the pit and I’m supper short 5’2. I’m only trying to spend around 80 but yeah. Hottopic has some but a lot of the comments I’ve seen talk about how the boot was falling apart literally after 2 or 3 days of use.
Hmmm its s kinda tough one, i do recommend like a flare platform so there is little hazard of tripping in them , something like the kera platfrom from demonia or the yru qozmo 2 flare platform
I recently bought some platforms and they sort of slip when I walk on the heel (probably because they can't bend to my walk) do you have any tips for sorting this issue?
Did u try putting some padding or an insole? It could help to keep your foot better in place! 🤗
