- Today we look at a murderous double cross from Bristol to Glasgow where an innocent courier had his life cruelly took. The story of Ricardo 'The Mad Spaniard' Blanco and 'Tough Tony' John McFadyens double cross of Bristol gangsters led to murder #mattleg #truecrimestory #yammybtv #paulferris #glasgowcrime #murderstories

Always a dodgey situation to be with strangers, double dodgey to do it in Glasgow they play by there own rules there. Seriously though if you’ve never had to meet someone in a dark lane in the middle of the night, for illicit reasons. It makes the adrenaline flow that’s for sure. The 90’s were crazy days. Great episode Ben these stories deserve to be spoken about. Different scenarios but meeting moody strangers is not recommended by me stick to the straight and narrow it’s the only way forward
Spot on bro thanks mate
Another fascinating video. You sounded almost apologetic. "It was a bit of a long
one today". I could listen to you all day long, given the subject
matter and the detail you go into. Please, keep 'em coming. The longer, the
better, as far as I'm concerned! Great stuff.
Thanks alot mate appreciated
@@enquirer2.0good video and big article on these blokes on google
Glasgow was absolutely wild from early 80s to early 2000s more like an east coast American city than a uk one in terms of crime poverty gangs and drugs
The jellies and valium had alot to do with it back then aswell, mixed with drink,it was a deadly combination. I knew many people who done lifers from then, andba few people.that had been murdered because of them. I had lifers tell me they woke up in the cop shop not knowing what they had done, until they were told by the Polis.
Glasgow was worse in 60sand 70s but it's calmed down a lot from 2000s which where high in violent crime.
County lines wouldn’t have been able to move into Glasgow in the 80s and 90 s
@@johnmcdonald9295 they still wouldn't be able to now
Another fascinating and inciteful video. I like the straight forward and no nonsense way you deliver the facts, it just leaves me wanting more. Keep up the outstanding work.
Why would you meet with someone you don't know in a place you can't get out off with all that gear on you .
First in Scottish Law to be done without a body.
The guy apparently trusted them and was keen to ged rid of the parcel..Ricardo had a row with Gavin Toye over a woman he ended up on the run at her house ..He was a pain in the arse in prison who stabbed samo 'feed the bear' ralston and then ran away .. he pretended he didnt understand english but knew and recognised "cannabis ...cannabis". He was a master manipulator another one to note was Fransico Torres who was caught adrift with cocaine ..
Sammo Ralston is a good one to do a video on. So is Stuart Quinn , JH James and stephen nisbet , Garry Smith , Mick Archibald , Billy Lewis , Rab Mcausland , Robie , Mick Roselli . John Bowden from London and Allan Brown
Nice Narration bro youve got a knack for this @Enquirer 2.0
My parents are Spanish, raised in the UK but since long ago living in Spain.
The Spanish-English rivalry never ended, sometimes carried to the knuckles! But always with respect.
Nice 1 Enquirer, looking forward to part 2.
Blkanco came up here as a minder for Paul Thorn surely??
Allegedly there's many unmarked graves on Fenwick Moor and the Cathkin Braes up here.
Great upload once again man.
Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎁🎄🎅
Merry xmas bro thankyou
There’s definitely one that’s for certain

Brilliant stuff mate, proper talent 👊❤️✌️
Thankyou my friend
Top class again 💪always been interested in this case very interesting, I stay in Kilmarnock 10 minutes away from the Fenwick moors by drive and regularly go walks up that way, be thinking about this the next time I go very eerie to know the body could still be there, looking forward to round 2 👌🏴🇬🇧
There's many bodies here in Fenwick & Gleniffer & cathkin braes. Love your channel & merry Christmas.
The longer the better mate your putting out some belters keep it up all the best for Xmas👍
Thanks mate have a great xmas
this one was really interesting, well worth a longer listen
You have some mint content mate
Thanks a lot mate
I remember Ricardo when he first came to Britain, we were in kingswood assessment centre in Bristol together back in 1978, we were best friends in there, and it’s true that he was a lunatic, he was a good kid to have has a friend back then when we were just 15 years old, but the other kids in the place we were at were terrified of him and that’s no bullshit either, he was like myself, he hated bullies and I’ll give him credit for that much at least, I knew the guy from Dartmoor jail that went to Scotland to move the body I’m not gonna name the guy but it’s true.
He was a bully. He was bullying Y.Os in Greenock and one slashed him for it.Plus the fact if he wasn't,then this murder wouldn't have happened. They killed an innocent guy that was just dropping drugs off,and they took the piss and killed him. Sounds like a bully b@stard to me.
Great channel E2.0 , enjoying these cases . Most of this one seems to be a bunch of junkies bashing their own and anyone else's stash . the one redeeming factor as far as Blanco is concerned could be leaving out that he told the others , proof of that especially in a murder case would make them accessories after the fact .. Moral of the story don't hang with those you can't handle . mutual respect is essential ... Looking forward to the next .
Very interesting mate ..God bless
Thanks mate
My pleasure sir🥊💪💯👍🏻
Black and white cafe bring back memories of my youth
pretty sure Blaco got deported after his sentence then got another big one over in France
He's been upto all sorts since in next episode
I'm sure he did pal.He tan about Clydebank with Worm Toye etc,and ended up with Worms misses after he got out.Worm got killed in Perth by Frank McPhee.
You sure it wasn't LSD and not coke the courier had
I remember this case from when I was young
Yes mate your right blanco confirms at the end of the vid it was amphetamines and other stuff
My memory was it acid but then again i had it down as happening around the mid 1980.s
In my old head
I was surprised when you said 1989
Can you do an episode on the Mcgoverns, mate? Nicknamed Mcgovernment
Yes mate definitely
That was great really enjoyed that one👍

Thanks for that extended peace (a drop I could sit through and have a cuppa rosey lee, cigarette and finish them still watching🖥,great stuff didn't want it to end) ●even so Mr E I think being from the backstreets of Paris and the violent multi national gang streets of Spain being called the mad Spaniard and taking the night bus to spain, France, London Bristol, Glasgow and being known as a hitman I don't think even the great fair minded Enquirer could convince me that "Benny blanco" (from the bronx) could put a shotgun to back of he's great friends head (being the loyal Spaniard he is, we all know that 99% them Spanish pool cleaners are the go to for anything😊) and woops I missed and grazed he's ear and was just with people I didn't know or like? Yeah rite tell carlito that Benny blanco! But there are a lot of innocent french spanish Bristol napoleon/Franco hitmen called mad Spaniard who travel up to Glasgow for a hit but miss out of loyalty...he must of snorted all that coke he took off carlito if he thinks I'm believing that.!..bet he had his Sunday school "please don't send me to jail for life" look on his boat race aswel 😮 in court No2 at the old Bailey? But that's what sets people like him apart they stone cold. My granny (RIP) had more chance of getting a not guilty on stealing 'PG Tips'🦧from kwik save, yeah she maintained her innocence till her dying day aswell bless her (mad Mary the half siberian half english daughter of a sergeant major in the British army! Why would she steal tea bags? She didn't she just put her umbrella gun to the side of the monkey on the box's head😢ffs) yeah the neapolitan answer to mad frankie Fraserburgh was guilty as my granny 4 'real' even so top drop, good length ep.. (for me) and keep em coming bro, but if you carty on working this much they be calling you 'mad bennie brown from freetown' 😊 Enquirer 2.0 what a channel.
I was visiting a mate in saughton and seen him with two woman all over him and my mate says dont look at him ,he was shitting himself cause me an my mate visiting were like who's this guy and my mate werent a bum so he must be well feared
I like these stories Ben about Scottish Gangsters as growing up in Glasgow & nightlife i came across some these guys & actually some of the.A guy called "One eye Mackay" from Greenock that i read about made think i would'nt to meet him in a dark place!🙈😳👍
The original mad Spaniard was from Maryhill area Glasgow ,met his fate in the 70s by some cowards ,do some research on this man. Friend of Rab Carruthers and more notorious.
Did I hear you mention Tony Argent?
At the end he talked about having a fight with jmac
Why’d they release them when they haven’t reciprocated with the body?
Think they gave rough location but cudnt find
@@enquirer2.0 Did they point at Ben Nevis? I bet they could have found a stash where they left it.
A body isn't generally a release condition, and it'd be further complicated by there being more than one person convicted.
Morally, it's a different story, but appealing to the morals of stone cold killers is a non starter.
Also, even if they were willing to give the victim's family some closure, Fenwick Moor is an awful place to search, as back then there were next to no landmarks - even though it is relatively close to Glasgow, it is very remote.
Ahh The Bold Ricardo Blanco aka Dickie White (which is the English translation of his name) Ricardo lived 2 doors down from me in the old C/hall Of HMP Glenochil so I actually got to know him! You said he was meant to have been in the French Foreign legion, another lifer who was ex 4/5 commando ie Royal Marine was on a work placement with Ricardo and had seen his paperwork from his time in England, from the age of 15 to the time he was lifed off in Scotland Ricardo appeared in court basically every year till then on one crime or another! Also when the former Royal Marine questioned him on military matters he was clueless as what he was on about, the bold Ricardo was telling porky pies about his military service in the French Foreign Legion, mind you he's not the only prisoner to get caught out on claiming to ex special forces in prison and some even went as far as sporting the tattoos of said regiments to back up there claims but when genuine former Marines or parachute regiment start to question them they are soon found out. . .
love it mate, please keep them coming. 👍 has bang bang ray varified this tale. lol 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂 No doubt I got this wrong aswell even though I actually spend hours and money researching my videos through court n press records and sources where I can. I spent time in hmp bristol my self and lived In Bristol for few years 🙈
he did all this with yammy, lew yates is a force mate. im sure carlton leach etc can agree with that. never heard that mans name before you tube but puts himself with the names like eddie richardson. do me a favour. @@enquirer2.0 🤣🤣🤣

I may be off the mark here, but as a kid I was sent to Eastwood park detention centre, which was just outside Bristol, this was in 1980, but I remember a kid, who was Spanish, and called Blanco, now the screws in Eastwood park were brutal, Blanco would not back down from them, I could hear them going to his cell at night, mob handed, the last I seen him, they had him in a straight jacket, he was eating his food like a dog, in the dining hall, I can't swear it is the same Blanco that was in DC with me in 1980, but I have a feeling it was.
Mcfadden no back in the jail in London
What’s lie a had the gun but was stuck in mud 😂 17 years and that’s the best you can come up with
Is Blonco related to Carbin ????
Was in Edinburgh jail with Ricardo worked on gardens we him
I remember Ricardo was up for attacking the governer at Hmp Perth, big fella way a scar across the neck and cheek, although he looked intimidating, he was okay also liked his hash 😂
Here is one you can interview maybe,Hugh Collins,Glasgow if alive, check it up.
Fin-ick....not Fenwick
Met Ricardo in HMP Greenock about 20 years ago, imo he's a gentleman
Sure it was about then young G.Gillespie fae Paisley slashed him in A-hall for bullying him for his radio.
So the guy who calls himself tough Tony a cold blooded killer claimed in court his own son manipulated him into it 😂😂😂
There's absolutely no way anyone would ever have a nickname called Tough Tony in Glasgow . That patter is pure shite , it would never happen lol
It was John McFadyen's Dad who said that his son manipulated him, not McFadyen talking about his son.
@ianmacfarlane1241 right now that makes sense 👌 thought he meant he was tryna palm the blame on his own son 😄 🤣 😂
@@Jammo1978 To be fair, it wasn't that clear.
