DIY Budget Tile Makeover painting my backsplash

- I have wanted to tackle this project for soooo long.
Ultimately we would love to renovate our kitchen but that's not in the budget right now.
Instead... I painted the tile backsplash!
I used products I had on-hand but if I were to buy everything I used it would cost me less that $200!!

Nice. Not sure why someone would need to criticize this. I would not have the patience to clean the tiles or paint them but you did an amazing job!

😂 I wasn’t sure where it was going in a few of the steps either. I don’t ever do samples and I pretty much just start filming without having tested my methods first. You’re getting the real process.

I have some floor tiles I may experiment on. They are super high traffic though so I’m not sure 🤔
If you try the floor tiles let me know. I know the Reclaimed heirloom in Vancouver, BC did it outdoor not sure if it was tiles or wood but it was gorgeous. That was at least 2 or 3 years ago.. I’ll look for the video and forwarded it to you 👍🤗❤️

Looks fabulous! I have smaller tiles in my kitchen which I've never really loved their color,only a few stores were open the day I had to purchase them. I think this technic would work great on them- My walls are a Venetian plastered look and I think the painted look would go well- Just will use a smaller IOD Stamp-

I do know there are a lot of people who have painted floors and used a stencil or stamp.
