Farmer Derek lives and works on the Klingenberg Family farm and ranch. He works with his Dad and two brothers. They raise Corn, Soybeans, Wheat, Cattle, and Cats. They background all the cattle and then graze them in the Flint Hills and they end up at the feedyards in Western Kansas.
The farm was started in the mid 30's by his grandpa who immigrated from West Prussia in 1923 when he was 9.
Growing up, Derek's family priorities consisted of church, family, work, music, and eating a lot. He now has his own family of three cute girls along with his wife Kara. Derek spends his time working on the farm, dancing with his girls, and making CZcams videos.

Had a neighbor in Ohio and he was pretty hard core business on their organic dairy farm when I was a kid and me 😢and his sons and one daughter would sneak up and listen to him play his clarinet to the cows he had no idea we were listening to him we got to see and hear his softer side he would never have admitted it quite the teacher as with most farms they never got to take a vacation so a bunch of us neighbors who got raw milk from them learned how to take care of their herd and they finally got to take a vacation together I’m 66 now and I still think of that
