Nice catch! 🤣

😂😂
Eloy getting a drum solo just warms my heart.
the spirit of joey flows through him
Jey is good but he didnt understand that this is the type of drumming that slipknot really needed.
This guy is crazy, he are more slipknot that slipknot
@anonymous5401 I've been saying this since he was let go. I liked Jay but his beats were so simple and seemed very repetive.
@@OldSeaHag i agree, and when they werent repetetive, it would be something that sounded like the song, but was still his own thing if that makes sense. Also the seemingly random fills he would add in. I think slipknot wanted someone that would just play the damn music
@@anonymous5401eloy is a lot more educated and well practiced than jay just from an outsiders point of view
Now this is slipknot. Please come back with a dirty album 🖤
It’s a bit too late for that now with no members left who made Slipknot sound like this to begin with
@@Nu_C-JayAGORA ESTÁ MELHOR COM ELOY! AGORA TEMOS UMA BATERIA QUE ABALA AS ESTRUTURAS!
@@Nu_C-Jayso u telling me corey, jim, mick, sid and clown did nothing from the start? interesting
@@lucianocesario2298 lol you hyped me up man, love the energy. Eloy will give the power that they need to keep going to 50 years.
It's obviously not the band they used to be in '99. But we can't get joey back. We can't get paul back. Would they want slipknot to die? I do not think so. why not let them try new sounds and give them a shot from time to time. They really seem to be on their game with this new Eloy energy.
@@MBCMSPRno he’s clearly telling you that the other members input matters, especially when a majority of the original songs from back were written by Joey and Paul. Just because they have Eloy now doesn’t mean they can’t flop on the next record.
Tortilla executed the barrel intro PERFECTLY
I would love to see him develop his voice more but that was pretty nice.
pfaff is such a talented percussionist
That was absolutely insane!
He messed the tempo a little, but still... he was really awesome.
Yeah i caught the tempo flub too.
I think his hair got in the way lmao.
Holy crap, Corey sounds 20 years younger.
Actually 25. Sounds so much more like IOWA era. In 2004 his voice was fuck3d
@@Gabriel-cf7dpjust threw up in my mouth a lil 😅
he's giving it his all to replicate his old voice for this tour
Scissors has always been a song I listen to when I have a meltdown. It's raw and creepy!
Especially when I got the flu or something, really hits the spot 👍
Same :D
Feel that, skin ticket has always been that for me
I love Jay. Love his drumming but….Eloy is what Slipknot needed. It’s just what it is. Nothing against Jay personally I’m sure but they needed a swift kick in the ass and they got it. This is Slipknot!
Hey, 69th like, and it's like your girl leaving you for Chris Hemsworth. It sucks but also you can't blame her.
Elroy is the only one thats capable of playing 1999
@@crankfastle8138 it like bpk kau tinggal kan kau buto
I don't, Jay sucks and I personally dislike him
Eloy is a really a monster
Scissors: * is one of the most skipped slipknot songs *
.
.
Eloy: I can fix that.
It’s insane that 90% of the crowd had no idea what song it is. Lol
Insanely sad...
Cos they only know Psychosocial and Custer lol
Lol dude, it’s truly painful to watch.
Deadass someone said they didn’t know a single song they played after the show and I wanted to say “how is that possible?”
@@disturbedenvironmentalist2313 Stupid Tiktokers and people that only know Slipknot from social media.
She is back,SHE IS BACK. SCISSORS
6:34 ive always found it intriguing at how vulnerable corey looks during performances like this, he lies on the ground wallowing in the music and seems to just exist there soaking it all in. you can see his chest moving up and down like a prey animal and its very oddly comfortable to see him just playing that character and enjoying the ambience
Holy shit, 5:37 onwards.
Yes, they're in their 50s but Slipknot is therapy, the world was fucked in 1999 and it is still fucked up. I can't help but feel Corey is tapping into the pain from his past and just purging all that shit out in that moment. Long live the 'Knot.
Corey sounds fucking incredible. My.
i swear, that jumpsuit must be possesed or something. It's amazing how Corey is able to go full 2000's era on this shows, both vocally and on the stage presense.
And of course, Eloy is a monster!
No it’s the mask with the dreads that brought the 2001 Iowa demon out of him lol.
Slipknot all visited CERN and went back in time, got their youth in exchange for their souls
@@mrimpressionshonestly i would bellieve it haha
The fact that Eloy dont rush the song make it easier for Corey to sing the way he can. It's soooo good
Holy shit. the quality and the angle give this the credit it deserves
The way Corey just stands there during the intro, head hanging down.. So sinister, amazing!
He brought back '99 in a single pose.
lol
I saw Slipknot in 1999 (summer, I think) at the Warehouse, in Toronto. Kittie, and some other band, opened for them. They opened with (sic), as I can remember (I was on a lot of drugs lol). Joey did this weird puppet dance, standing on his drums, as the lights came on. He was the first one on stage. I got sick, and puked in front of the stage. Clown pointed at it and pretended to laugh. Sid, then jumped of the massive stack of speakers at the right of the stage, and landed on my, and my friend's heads. He was much more agressive back then. To be fair, people were trying to pull off his gas mask as he was crowd surfing (nobody had seen their faces with masks at this point). As he was surfing, he was punching people in their head, and I mean PUNCHING (I caught a few shots myself lol). At the end of the show, my friend and I stayed, to get autographs and shit, and the only people we didn't meet were, Mick, Paul, Sid, Shawn, and Craig. We met Chris in his tour bus. He totally stopped what he was doing, and came to the door with a massive smile to sign our ticket stubs. I can;t remember where we saw Jim, but I think he was on his way to the bus. He looked like he was in a hurry, but I stopped what he was doing to say hi, sign our stubs, and thank us for coming. I can't remember how long we were hanging out in the parking lot, but I remember getting sick a few times, looking up and seeing Jordi and Corey talking to a few people. Everybody else had left...it was pretty surreal. We went up to say hi, and they couldn't be friendliest and humble. I could still see the black smudged makeup on Corey's face, and remember seeing his Chinese neck tattoo. Apparently, they were looking for the Brass Rail, a well-known strip club in Toronto. We were like, we can show you! They were like, ok! I can't remember what happened after, because I was really out of it, but they ended up not going, and we took off. Point of this story is, I've been to many concerts, and had some amazing experiences. This, by far, was the best show, and experience I've ever had. This version of Scissors, and their 25 year anniversary tour is even better than 99. I'm not crazy about some of the more recent work they've done, but i's amazing to see how they've evolved. One thing to note is that there aren't many cameras out filimng the performace. That's because Slipknot is the most immersive show you could ever experience. Great video...thanks for sharing!
Awesome story, im not a fan of their newest albums either. First album is the best there is for me. Hope they play scissors in Amsterdam when i'm there.
Dope was the other band
@@toddbabin2780 that's it! They weren't that great. Lol
A little says alot
Хорошая выдуманная история, лол😂
Corey’s screams are fucking gnarly here! This is arguably the best he’s sounded in a long time
I liked what he did in The Chapeltown Rag
This song blew me away when I first bought this album in 99
This took me back when I was a kid on CZcams watching all those legendary slipknot concerts. This is among those legendary concerts like dynamo 00 and london 02
What a time to be playing that song live and have Eloy as the drummer! Fits so well and is meant to be hit hard with groove 🙌🏻🤘🏼🤘🏼
“As I injected! The candied heart that I selected! She said don’t hesitate… Just DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO ME!!”
I love the intensity. Corey Taylor 52 from Des Moines convinced everyone. I appreciate all of you. I was a metal head 30 years ago and still am.
Eloy is a monster like Octopusman; this is amazing bro!🤘
Seriously, it's because of them that I'm still alive.
I love eloy more and more. Slipknot has been resurrected! Joey and paul.
I cannot tell you all how much I want them to go back to this kind of songwriting. A full album of nothing but dark, creepy, edgy, and disturbing slow-burning songs that make you say "Corey Taylor, what the actual fuck!!??"
Can not agree enough... While most OG fans want Iowa 2 I'm wanting ST 2.. shit was heavy but grimey, emotional, twisted and disturbing AF. Light years heavier than anything on Iowa, IMHO. Sadly, they'll write another generic radio friendly "Slipsour" album.
I love U, Eloy Bighouse. Ready to see them live in Mexico City in November 🤟🏽
I like Corey's body language at the first of the song. Like he's putting his self back into the mindset when he first wrote it back then. I had the album and listened every morning on the way to school on my cd player, but always skipped this one. This version is killer.
Scissors was written by joey
@@hudsonvasconcelos3237 That
is awesome. Joey has always been a huge inspiration for me. Got his signature snare, sticks, etc. Thanks for that.
Brrro that solo was INSANEEEEEEEE IM MOSHING IN MY FRONT ROOM
They just reopened a scar of mine that had healed 25 yrs ago!!! It hurts but it fucking feels great!!!
I was there and will confirm Eloy and this whole band are fucking machines 🔥🔥🔥
I never thought they'd play this song specific song ever in Slipknot's current life.
That drum solo was not in the original recording. That sounded like Brazilian tribal beats to a VERY disturbing song. So fucking PERFECT!!!!
This is the definition of not forgetting your roots. Playing this makes me think of joey when he was writing the lyrics for this song. One of my favorites by far. Long live the knot.

Such a great artists!! Everybody contribute so well!!! ❤🔥🤘
Please give us another album similar in Raw Industrial Nu-Metal style and atmosphere to the self titled album. The vocal style was best on this album too. Slipknot at their peak.
6:23..6:37 🥶🕰️Sincere beats from the bottom of the soul, the true sound of tribal drums
vou responder em portugues pq sei q é brasileiro, isso é simplesmente sepultura, MUITO foda o eloy trazer essa identidade mais brasileira pra banda, e mais foda ainda é a galera estar gostando.

I hope they continue playing this song live scissors is my fav slipknot song
15 years ago id listen to this song and feel electrified by its horror and intensity. Now, i just cry
Amazing how close Corey sounds to the debut. Everything sounds so tight. Im excited for December!
SlipKnot is GOATED 🐐, THIS IS AMAZING!!!!! 🤩
Hah, goated...
Nunca te bayas Eloy de Slipknot eres el mejor ❤❤..
After 24 damn years, took them long enough. This just makes me ecstatic!
we can interpret the end of the show as if Eloy with his drums was putting the beast in Corey to rest to the sinister tribal rhythm.
Or a satanic ritual with Corey being fully possessed, the altar is right where he lay in front of the drums and Eloy is the master/magus/priest who is invoking Satan at the drums. It seems exactly like that to me 😂
Eloy is just crushing it. Such an amazing drummer.
It’s not everyday that Eloy can use the tortilla head drum 😂
This is by far, and it's not even close, my favorite Slipknot song. The absolute darkest and heaviest song, that doesn't sound like someone shitting through an impacted bowel.
So awesome! I've seen Slipknot live 4 times, first was 2002! But never seen them play Scissors
Makes sense. He said the last they played it was '01.
I hope once the will play Virus of life live
Hell yeah, same here. That and the full length version of "Danger - Keep Away". I'd love to experience that live.
Maybe we'll be lucky and get that on the 25th anniversary of Subliminal Verses?
@@levelont5560 actually I really hope they will do this. They need to play every album. I don't need now music actually. Just play these old good ones good and that's all.
been patiently waiting for 21 yrs for this song to be played live 🥲🥲
Eloy deu outro ânimo a banda🇧🇷
The same as the Slipknot in 1999. The world's coolest champion who continues to shine today. Now this is Slipknot. Scissors has always been a song i listen to when i have a meltdown. It’s raw and creepy.
My all time favorite Slipknot song
@4:40 Love when the band is firing on all cylinders like this.
Goddammit I wish I could’ve seen em with Joey but I know he’d love this shit 🤘🏻🤘🏻 can’t wait to see em in Dallas!!!
Can’t believe he still sounds this fucking menacing yesssss 2:41
corey acts so menacing in this song. he’s genuinely feeling himself this year
Doesn't matter who comes as new members to the band! Will always ❤️ my Favorite Band SLIPKNOT!! Maggots!!!!!!!
I had you guys posted on my walls growing up I love you guys!!! Just started listening to all of your music I'm so in love I used to just really like to look at your posters but now I'm like hell ya I used to have these guys posted on my walls!! No way!
One of their best
I was in Noblesville, Indiana, for the first day of the tour, August. 6th. Forst time they had played it live in 24 years, and holy fuck man, Corey just slays the OG shit till this day! Eloy Casagrande was EXACTLY what they needed to begin a new era of Slipknot. I definitely see some darker, way heavier riffs and solos, also a drum solo here and there as they did with Joey. I think Joey would approve. Eloy sounds identical to Joey. I'm just saying.
Scissors Live! 😮
Now, Slipknot returns.
These guys should release a DVD for this tour...!!!
I mean, their whole shows are available on CZcams for free.
In one interview Corey said that Scissors is his favourite song.
They never perform it live because its too hard for Corey himself. Even at this rare ocassion he didnt sing (or scream) half of the song. There should be most epic scream you'll ever heard in the part where Corey choose to just lie down and the other members improvise. Okay, he screamed so epicly before, but in the original album, there is even more epic scream.
Man, 7:09 to 7:25 holy shit Eloy going insane beating the shit out of that fuc*ing drum
Really feels good
Lmao guaranteed most of this crowd didn’t know wtf this song is 😂
You right but after I heard this had to look it up. (video quality amazing did 0 justice for the sound quality though)
This is bone chilling!!!! Wtf !! Welcome back KNOT!!!!!! MAGGOTS 4 LIFE!!!
Damn!!! This is my slipknot I remember!!
Absolut crazy diese Performance ❤
Das ist Slipknot!!!
Elloy 😍 Real Hulk of Drummer !!! 🎉
it's interesting how Spit it Out used to be the show outro but then it's like Surfacing became the new Final Boss and now it's like we unlocked the hidden boss Scissors which is bigger, scarier and more powerful. Sorry, my brain makes these weird connections sometimes.
Tortilla’s barrel intro gave me CHILLS
They played this live?!? Holy shit that's awesome!!!
Thank you slipknot ❤❤
Seeing them tonight in Baltimore yes indeed
This is probably the only slipknot track that’s turned down to F#. We need more songs in this tuning
I’m in favor of tuning everything down lol.
I have been saying this since I first heard this song when I was a little kid. I WISH slipknot would tune lower than A/A#. It would do them wonders.
Eloy made Joey proud with this one
My favorite song
I cried while looking at this. Fucking sick shit🤘🤘
Caralho, Eloy. Monstro!
These guys still killing it after all these years. Ill be rocking out to them in my wheelchair
idk what the hell made them play this but im just so glad they did, of all the songs they choose the deepest cut of them all, fuckin amazing
Corey once said, that scissors is his favourite song and he sad because of they removed it from live setlist
So amazing 🔥🔥🔥

Not on the hill. People were trying to escape from the pit.
@@Morbid1312 I don't understand this comment... I'm saying the crowd didn't cheer them enough.
I was in the pit. A lot of the people didn’t know their first album. It was actually surprising how many people was not familiar with their first album so some people were disappointed and just stood there which personally made me upset, but there was also a good amount of people who were having fun. Definitely more positive people there than negative.
