    On your other vid, you were looking for a powder coater. I have a great powder coater that I use for my large items on my Camaro project near Wytheville. I'm in the NRV. Great channel.

      the ring is to keep the wheel centered and not put the weight of the vehicle off of the studs.

    How does the truck drive now with the torsion bars moved in the location? Be totally honest, does it turn mushy, differently overall, because now the torsion bar is being difentely pushed more than twisted. be honest! There's a company that has a kit to do the exact thing, moving it up. Ya, I like it being up , and out of the way, cleaner! Thanx! I'll try not to bother any more.

      I just ordered the 6 inch lift for my 04 Tahoe. When I received it I began to inventory it and the first set of instructions and inventory booklet was listed for 99-06 pickup 4wd. Initially I was confused but after continuing to do the inventory, I realized that the front parts are exactly the same. The only parts that are different are the rear. The pickup uses lift blocks and the Tahoe uses lifted springs. Here is the link for the inventory and instruction sheet for the 2000-2006 Tahoe. s3.amazonaws.com/roughcountry/install/280n2.pdf and here is the link for the 99-06 pickup. s3.amazonaws.com/roughcountry/install/921272X00.pdf Check them both out and compare them and you'll see that they are the same. Hope this helps.

    • @jacobn3160
      @jacobn3160 Před 4 lety

      Lifts usually make the truck almost perfectly level. If not for some reason you can crank your torsion keys a little or get a smaller rear block to make it level. Rough country is fine, I’d recommend bilstein shocks though. The rough country ones aren’t great, but get the job done

    • @daltongill
      @daltongill Před 5 lety +1

      The 4" suspension lift is really the most optimal lift kit to have on a truck strictly based on the structural integrity of the build. Not only does it create enough room to run 35×12 tires, but the design and 4" length allow the truck to operate per usual avoiding less stress/damage on CV's/Ball joints etc. The build of the truck's frame, suspension, and entire wheel assembly is still really solid. More lift=more stress on mechanical integrity. Yea it looks nice and all, but it must be well taken care of and not rode hard to prevent breaking something.
