I'm amazed Bungie hasn't taken any hints from DE yet about community management and engagement. Every single time I have seen this argument someone always brings in Rebecca and Megan from DE with all of their livestreams as an example of proper interaction. I even remember the night we were supposed to get update 13, a massive update that reworked a large portion of the game in a similar way to what the Taken King did for Destiny, and watching as Rebecca walked through the building with a camera at

After finding out that Dredgen Yor was a Titan, I thought it was fitting. Titans are perceived as these noble soldiers who were unyielding in there resolve and loyalty to the light. Hunters always had a dark mischievous undertone to them. So when he changed from Rezyl to Yor, it made sense that his class would change with it. I also felt that it would be a great parallel to the weapon itself. See, I fall into the camp that believes First Curse was the predecessor to Thorn. The reasons Mylein Games presented as well as my own reading of the Grimoire brought fair points to the argument. Tex Mechanica weapons were all called prizes. So too did Yor always refer to his weapon as a prize. He even talked about Last word as if he was intimately familiar with the weapons design. Imprecation is a spoken curse. Xyor placed what is most likely the first curse to ever corrupt a guardian onto Rezyl. As the bone he grafted to his weapon became a festering sickness for it, so too did the curse of Xyor corrupt Rezyl. This makes sense as First Curse was a high impact weapon (like a Titan), then transformed into Thorn, a high rate of fire archetype (fast like a Hunter). And for all those who don't believe that's First Curse was the predecessor to Thorn, look at Grimoire card, Legends: Rezyl Azzir - The Triumphant Fall. One portion of it said, "...spun his weapon with a confident Hunter twirl..." Insinuating both an affinity for Hunter traits as well as it being one of the hand cannons that can be twirled. One of those belong to Cayde-6 while the other to Jaren/Shin leaving only The First Curse. Not to mention the other line in the card, "Rezyl's cannon was loaded and ready to fire as if an afterthought." A weapon that reloads without you having to even think about it and handles quickly. Sounds like the First Curse perk at play. Even the usage of the word afterthought immediately brings up the link between the two. "...is when death becomes an afterthought." Joker likes the lore so much, he gets blocked on Twitter by Bungie employees when he pointes out lore inconsistencies.
My apologies, if this was less refined then it should have been, I was up against a bit of a deadline getting this info out. As it also somewhat concerned another CZcamsr who was only tangentially involved in the conversation, only by way of assoceation not actual participation. they have also reported on this lore info, which they should have because it concerns a project they had shelved. However, unfortunately, my suspicions that I would NOT be credited for what was basically an impromptu interview were founded, and I was not given credit by the other CZcamsr for getting this information that they will benefit from. I won't attempt to guess at motivation, perhaps they don't wish to be associated with me, or perhaps they simply forgot, regardless it is what it is, and I wanted to get ahead of it.

Couldn't They (Bungie writing team) State that he was a Titan BUT most of his friends/allies were Hunters to imply him hanging around them had a influence on him?

Ha! Today, I randomly pulled up the Last Word / Thorn lore cause I was bored in class. Get back to my room, and my favorite youtuber makes a video about it. Awesome video, and convenient time, Ha! Keep it up
Here's a theory, maybe Yor disguises himself as hunter to further disassociate himself from the man he use to be, Rezyle. In Ghost Fragment: Thorn 3, near the end, Yor talks about how he doesn't want to be referred to as Rezyle by his ghost. He doesn't want Rezyle's legacy to be tainted by the man he is today, so he disguises himself to keep others from discovering his true identity.
