  • In this build, I show you how to build a more refined pallet wood wine rack. I go beyond simply cutting down a pallet and hanging it on a wall. I use wood from a previously broken down pallet. I sand down the boards till the grains are vibrant again, and finish the wine bottle holder with stain and several coats of polyurethane. I really enjoy doing these pallet wood projects. Please let me know your thoughts about this build in the comment section below.

    Clever idea. I like the natural rustic look the pallet material gives it

    Looks lovely, I to like to use pallet wood and reclaimed timber from time to time. I have made a few of these now all slightly different.

    Great wine rack, I’m going to give it a shot for a Christmas gift for both of my sister-in-laws. QUESTION - What type of hardware did you use on the back to hang it flush to the wall?

    Like the project, not a fan of the music volume increase on transitions between audio.

      Yea, that was one the earlier videos. I was still learning the editing side of the business. The newer videos won’t blow out your eardrums. Lol

    What did you use to cover over the screws? Thanks

    Do you ever stain / finish the wood pieces prior to assembly? I wonder if that would make it easier to avoid some of the darker areas in the corners (not on your rack, but just in general).

      I guess you could, but all of the pieces would have to fit perfectly because you won’t be able to cut them without exposing the unstained wood.

    Curious how tall did you make the side pieces? Great job!

    Great video!
    for the future the music between when you are speaking is really loud so I kept having to change my volume throughout the video. Cheers!

      You are right. That was one of my earliest videos. I have fixed that problem since then. Thanks for watching!

    How about the wall mounting process?

    • @ArtisanMade
      @ArtisanMade  Před 3 lety

      I eventually mounted it with 2 screws in an inconspicuous place, directly into wood beams behind the sheetrock wall
