We all love ya Josh. Could hear a little pain in your voice about the F20 powered cars troubles and decision to pull out the V8 beast. Vibrations can be hell to identify and resolve; sending positive vibes your way. If you didn't hear me, Jeremiah and Cody bought tickets to Driveway Austin Time Attack. Cheap tickets and some fun competition w/ prizes. Be cool to see the V8 battling us as well, if not I'm sure i'll see ya at another event.
Thanks brother ill take the good vibes!! I may be back sooner than i hoped due to some good parts hoarding and ae86 community support. The driveway austin should have a few events.. ill definately try to come play soon.
Thanks for the great video and stay positive brother! I’m a del Sol nut but your cars have given me some motivation to keep pushing forward on my build.
Josh awesome vid, sorry to hear the coupe went down. You did put a big smile on my face with ur announcement of the V8 Hatch coming back out. I do have some tech questions for you about both the cars. Idk, if you want me to post here, IG, or PM on messenger. Let me know I’m sure ppl would be interested. Can’t wait for the next video!!
joshiroku, awesome! Ok first, you have several hours in the hatch, unfortunately not that much in the coupe, but do you feel any differences between the two body styles?
I love mine, ive got annex on both cars that see track use and both versions as well (divorced and true coilover) id say divorced setup w/ swift spring upgrade is ideal for a street setup. Very compliant but still grip focused when using the new crop of ultra high performance summer tires (200tw). As far as spring rates are concerned my cars are slightly different due to the engine swaps. I would contact annex directly and get a reccomendation on your setup. At this price point i dont think theres a better solution for the 86.
Great channel Josh have been loving the videos

How do you like the annex suspension? And for street and track what spring rate do you recommend? 7/5?
