Amazing carsđ„đ
We agree!
dope!!
Thanks buddy!!
They are too expensive where I live because of high taxes. When we buy one car we in reality pay for two and half car ! So it is very expensive and with the crisis we
have in Europe the EV sales have come to a halt in many countries including my own! It has simply stopped ! Used cars are also expensive because of the taxes .There is nothing like cheap cars here
all are too expensive. Many of the cars are bought through banks with a loan. Two years ago I bought
a Nissan Qashqai 1.5 diesel with 75000 km on the clock and paid 200000 d.kr. which is about 25000 dollars. The Qashqai is a bit smaller than the Nissan Roque but the same body and engine where I live .
Thanks for sharing your perspective, @leifandersen2756. It's disheartening to hear about the challenges with high taxes impacting the affordability of EVs in your region, especially during the current economic crisis. Your comparison with the Nissan Qashqai provides valuable context on the financial considerations that influence car purchases. It's clear that the cost factor, including taxes and loans, significantly affects consumer choices. This highlights the importance of addressing economic barriers to make sustainable options, like EVs, more accessible globally. Your insights into the local market conditions add a crucial dimension to the ongoing discussion on the future of automotive technology. If you have any further thoughts or questions, I'd be interested to hear them.
I would never buy an EV because it is too problematic to have .It is easier to fill the tank in a diesel car or a petrol car and both have longer range that an EV ever will get. No charging ,and no downgrading in range in winter ! The EV sale has stopped completely where I live .And in Britain too !People cannot afford it because of the crisis and people in Britain are used to buy very cheap cars and run them down until they have to be replaced .EV are not cheap so it has staggered !
Hi @leifandersen2756,
Thanks for sharing your perspective on EVs. It's always valuable to hear different opinions on the matter. I understand your concerns about range, charging, and the affordability of electric vehicles, especially given the current economic situation.
While EVs may not be the perfect fit for everyone, advancements are being made to address these concerns. Range is improving with each new model, and charging infrastructure is expanding globally. Affordability is indeed a challenge, but as technology evolves, we hope to see more accessible options in the future.
It's interesting to note the different preferences and challenges faced in various regions. Your insights about the situation in your location and in Britain are particularly enlightening. The automotive landscape is undoubtedly diverse, and different solutions may be needed for different places.
Thanks again for contributing to the discussion. If there's anything specific you'd like to know or discuss further, feel free to let me know!
