  • Ope. Hey there guys! In this video, we are back at the game bird farm blinding pheasants! "Blinders," are devices fitted to, or through, the beaks of the birds to block their forward vision and assist in the control of pecking and ultimate death of the birds. Our crew got 6,000 pheasants done in a matter of 3 hours. Efficiency! Enjoy BLINDING 6,000 PHEASANTS! (Game Bird Farm)

    • @3TripleR
      @3TripleR  Před 2 lety +1

      Absolutely. They can still eat and drink just fine! It just blocks their forward vision to keep them from pecking each other to death :)

    Is the different colors for boys ..what's the blinders for .. good thing you had some good help ..here to support you ..love to see more of the farming the birds ...

    • @3TripleR
      @3TripleR  Před 2 lety

      Appreciate you watching! The colors don't mean anything special, they're just random as they get reused of not broke. The blinders are put on so that they don't peck each other to death. It blocks there forward vision but they can see out the sides just fine! :)

    Is this so they don’t peck each other

    • @3TripleR
      @3TripleR  Před 2 lety +1

      Correct! Without these, they would peck each other to death

    • @josephbishopbackwoodssurvi3918
      @josephbishopbackwoodssurvi3918 Před 2 lety +2

      That’s what I thought I seen back in the day they would put rose color glasses on chickens for the same reason I love eating pheasant

    Why they put it in the face

    • @3TripleR
      @3TripleR  Před 6 měsíci +1

      It hinders their forward vision in order to keep them from picking on each other.
