      Mine is the Fried Liver. I started playing chess because of the Fried Liver. I would blindly play 1.e4 2.Nf3 3. Bc4 4.Nc5 regardless of what my opponent played. I have some games that are too old to analyse where there isn’t even a black Knight on f6 and black just plays 4…Qxg5 and I lose the game.

    Advice I gave a newbie chess player. Think of your pieces as a team. Each having their own personalities and moves. But each needing to defend each other, look out for each other. Once you learn the way they move and remember how to back up each other - then you can build your attacks and also have an escape plan. Instead of panicking about it. Just enjoy it. As for what openings to use, find one you like. Find ones that beat you and beat them back.
    Discover, don't distress.

      I learned an opening and understood its concepts and ideas, and that alone led me to a none stopping win streak, it was a 20min video from gotham and its great! I havent memeorized much but the general idea "if opponent does not fight for center, take it, if they do, gambit, and if neither, then win by abandonement"

    The funny thing about taking that pawn trapping the rook with the queen is that if they do the best move you're totally dead both in development and control of squares

    After Qb4 they can play Nc3 and it is a winning position. They can also play Bd2 Qxb2 Nc3. This will only work on below 1200ths I think

  • @canofcola
    @canofcola Před rokem

    you can icbm with englund too, opponent goes d4, you go e5, they take the pawn and then you go bc5, they will mostly go Nf3 to protect the pawn, then you do d6 and if they take, do knight to e7, and if take the knight too.. you SACRIFICE THE BISHOP!!! you play bishop to f2, the king is forced to take and after king takes, queen takes the other queen, and you can probably win afterwards, but heres a reminder, if they move the e pawn, DO NOT take the bishop, if you do, they bo bishop to b5 check and its a fork, you gotta save the king but if you do, their rook takes, so be careful!

    There's just knight to c3 which opens the queen to protect the rook instead of trying to kick the queen out with the Bishop to c3 instead. A horrible trap. 😂

  • @jamiepearsonn
    @jamiepearsonn Před rokem

    One major flaw here is that the best move for white isn't actually Bishop to d2, it's actually pawn to c3. Countered
