you CAN actually dye with food colors, but only temporary. you just put the color where you want it in dry hair and thats it. it gets pretty intense colors and when you wash your hair next time, it goes away. we did this when i was in school, the beautiful and fun colors that exist today didnt exist then (not as boxcolors anyway) i would love to be a teenager now, i would have so much fun with all the colors!!!

Actually mixing Henna with beets is a miracle for brown hair. It gives you that reddish purplish color and it is sooo beautiful.

Ok but like the beginning is me when my client texts me and tells me they used a box dye at home and now want me to fix it 😂
I used to dye my hair turquoise with blue liquid food coloring + hydrogen peroxide, and lavender with purple liquid food coloring + hydrogen peroxide back in the 80s. It worked really well for such a simplistic method. My hair is naturally dark brown.

Well isn't hydrogen peroxide able to bleach your hair? So you essentially did bleach it, but adding the dye just turned it into color I'm guessing. Kinda cool.
I dip dye my hair with food coloring and vinegar- the vinegar is what makes it stick (like dyeing eggs for easter).it works very well

Brad babe they've been using beets and plants to dye things especially fabric for centuries lol it works. Beets, cacao aka chocolate powder and coffee , onion skins, indigo flowers, and many other plants and such and it does work. This is how pigments were ORIGINALLY created for paint and dye and hair color. It's fun and interesting history ☺️💕

eat food watch anime But gasoline has a little sweetness. It has a floral note,alongside a alcohol side flavour. It also has a weird medicinal taste. It also has a note that’s similar to the weird, sickening smell when you get car sickness. I accidentally drank a bit instead of water. I like describing things.

No joke, I got my Bachelor's in baking and one of my chef instructors told the entire class that our teeth will never be super white because of the work environment. We also have to deal with the chance that we'll get baker's lung/white lung which is similar to black lung (coal miners' lungs filling with fine black particulates) white lung is the same but instead of coal dust it's flour, sugar, dry milk powder, cocoa powder, all the fun tasty dry ingredients coat the inside of your lung

I’ve used Kool aid to dye my hair (just the tips) every summer for the past three years. It’s like a dipdye technique and it actually works. My hair is on the darker side but it shows up. Especially in the sun. So far I’ve done red twice and purple once (which also looks red) XD but its DEFINATELY almost perminate! It might fade but it definately stays for a VERY LONG time!
Koolaid definitely works! Haha had to cut my daughters hair to get it out one summer.
A better method
Heat up conditioner in the microwave until its warm not ✨hot✨
Add koolaid at least 4-5 packs of what ever color your using
🌝mix🌝
Then add conditioner until you have enough for all your hair
^Apply to hair^
Put it in a shower cap/grocery bag/plastic wrap whatever you have
Let it sit for at least 8 hours (yes thats a long time but this is koolaid not a traditional dye)
I recommend sleeping with it (towel over your pillow PLEASE)
Then rinse with cold water DO NOT SHAMPOO it will make it fade faster until it runs clear
Let dry and style idk what you do with your hair
And your done!
This is a really long process but if you want to use koolaid this is the way that ive seen works the best!

To dye your hair with beat juice...use beat juice you can buy in markets.. Take the juice warm it, plug on gloves & work the juice into your hair. No water on your hair until it has dried completely. Rinse it with warm water. It will last until you wash your hair.

You use coffee in the henna, so tune down brightness of the "orange" in henna. I used to mix 50/50, coffee and henna, bring it up to boil and then let it set over night. The longer you let the mix stay in your hair, more read you get. Just try your way. It's important that it is pure henna.
I know as hairdresser that henna is sticking to your hair and only way to get rid of that. It's to grow it out, other colors, etc might not stay...
So coffee doesn't stain your hair braun but make the henna less red, so if you are light brown/dark blonde you will get a deep chestnut orange color.

Combine white distilled vinegar with baking soda to make a paste, apply the paste to the stain, wait until it dries and then vacuum the remaining baking soda. You're welcome
