We fished a small local lake in Norfolk, with temperatures cold we decided to concentrate on natural baits and fish for bites! Concentrating mainly on chopped worm and caster we landed some nice Roach... right at the end of the session we even managed to land a couple of bonus carp! - Sport
Thanks for the reply lads, keep up the good videos and happy new year
Thanks, glad you liked the video! We are fishing in around 5ft of water!
Hi Ian, we choose this peg as its roughly where the lake gets deeper and we thought they may be a few more fish in this area, especially as it was so cold! We fished that far out as it was a comfortable distance to fish and there was no real other compeition from other anglers! Hope this helps, tight lines and happy new year! From The Waters Edge
Legend has it the hat is still going strong
Haha! 😂😂 It's been well and truly retired I think Liam - although I might ask Steve to bring it along to our next session! 😉
another great vid, compliments of the season to you both, and keep up the good work, from Tez.G, North Wales
Thanks +terry gooderham glad you are enjoying the videos, thanks for taking the time to comment too. Cheers Chris.
Hi Nathan, yeah am sure we can sort something out! Will see if we can get something filmed the next month or so! :-)
Yeah I suppose we could do! Thats a good shout! :-)
nice carp
Lovely fish from a lovely water. Just shows how simple baits can work the best. This may seem a stupid question but can you get worms from your garden? If so how can you get them, just dig up the ground? Thanks, great video!
Haha! We cant possibly get rid of the hat! It's a lucky fishing hat! :-))
Great vid as always, can I ask what made you pick that peg and what made you decide to fish that distance?
ok thanks :)
hey guys another great vid again but wath is the depht your fishing
Nice video, I've only fished with worms once and i blanked that day but i had corn too and that produced nothing either. Was one of those days where i could have done with a pole and a dobbing rig but i fished the bomb, and the weather had been freezing cold that day at the fishery all the lakes were frozen except the one i fished (was frozen in places though). Just one of those days where the fish werent moving at all and was just too cold.
I would consider fishing with worms again but i just think if you're fishing for anything then why not just maggots...why bother with worms? i know lobworms get the bigger fish but normal earthworms i dont really see the point i'd just prefer maggots especially as they're smaller and you dont need to chop them up like you do with worms.
could you do a video on how to fish with bread?
Great vid guys but you do need a new hat lol
bet chris was cold
