- Loved this, what a fantastic episode.
Been chipping at it for a few months, life is busy! Lots of imperfections, especially with some Nested Sequence bugs in premiere, alas I decided to stop struggling and accept the imperfections.
Yes, I am aware Molly's horns are not this shape. I don't know what possessed me to make them this way, but here we are, please accept their fate for this animatic as I have haha

100%, I got chills when this happened in the campaign, I could not BELIEVE what was happening
I don't know what possessed me to draw his horns this way, I had a reference right before me, but alas here we are 😄

I love the music choice in the background. That combined with the superb editing giving us just the monologue really heighten the impact of what was an already amazing scene. It amazes me that people think Critical Role is completely scripted. I do think Matt had a few planned bits of dialogue like this, but If the players knew what was coming this speech clearly lays out what they should do next and instead they spend half the next day waiting around.
Thank you! Yeah this was such a fantastic moment, I remember re-watching it a bunch when it happened absolutely floored by what was happening! Agreed, I think lots of people with their home games will agree that you get incredible moments and stories without scripting - thanks to the GM and the self-awareness of players

To know where it was & knowing they noticed NOTHING was honestly freaky. It certainly made things interesting.
I was screaming at them to go upstairs and check on DeRogna. I don't know if it was the 'Allez oop' clue from Matt or the clues in Lucien's monologue ( 'I wouldn't have been able to follow HER' 'All that knowledge and so little understanding') but I couldn't understand why none of them went to go check on her.
Of course, it's easier to see these things from the outside but ooof!
Top tier animation, nice job! (also being able to see the bloody bed adds a lot more tension and gives some villain vibes, I like the detail)
