im so happy that youre back love youre content !! i have a traxxas slash 2wd and now im a noob at this hobby and when i watch you im like damn 1 day im gonna make a truck myself just like you :D keep up the good work man!!!
Sweet! I've honestly been waiting for you to do this for a while now. Glad to see a full how to. I might have to look into learning to weld so I can tackle a project like this. Thank you for the great video! I'll be watching!
THIS is why schools need vocational programs! Even if the students are more interested in "trivial" things like remote control..... Even if Cyconxc didn't pick his skills up in a class (he may or may not have, I'm not sure, just impressed)........ This is where passion can lead you. Hands down the coolest and most realistic RC truck I have ever seen!!!
Very NICE !! Love to see people building RC stuff themselves , instead of putting together bought (or mostly sponsored) hop up parts. Looking forward to part 2.
Major probs Cyconxc - I love how you display your trial and error wooden chassis and i love you craftmanship - Those TIG's surely looks "easy" to use.. Good work so far
thanks mate for taking the time to do this vid series for us. really interesting project and something i'd like to try myself... maybe in the 1/5 scale arena. cheers and look forward to the vids! thumbs UP!!
Oh wow that is super nice. TIG welding sure brings a lot to the table in terms of building. I only have a little experience with a crappy mig fluxcore welder.
I wanted to see how you started the first welds. Not starting with a half made portion. If your going to start from just a pile of rods, it would be nice to see how you started. Not showing a built lower portion then going from there.
Great work!!! I am 70% way through a (for look only) 1/10 scale Ibex Crawler frame with aluminum body panels, however I have used 6mm copper pipe and brazed it all :( I wish you posted this 3 weeks ago :) I didn't even think solid round bar :( and up until now i also didn't think an arc welder would have been much use for something as small as we are doing!!! Again amazing work really contemplating a need to make another frame like this!
Fantastic mate always wanted to know how you build Zeus 2 and what stuff you used Thank you so much, we are defiantly going to try to build my own 4x4 Zeus added to playlist like a lot of your other vids :D
I want to watch this so bad, but i'm waiting for longer binge maybe part 5 or I'll wait till finished i'll binge watch through them all. For now I've subscribed.
I know I’m late to seeing this but my son and I have been getting into rc and having a blast I’ve always wondered if you could fabricate your own rc as a fabricator for a living it was only natural to think that lol anyway great video now I have a whole new rabbit hole to dive in. Hey not sure if you’ve discovered this yet but a skill saw with a regular framing blade cuts aluminum like butter I use a cutoff wheel only when I have too plus the dust is bad for u
I just found your channel and I am inspired to say the least! I would really like to start doing this and I have a question. Are you using retail RC chassis/parts to start with or is that custom too?
Wow your a young buck with some sick skills! I thought some retired engineer build these trucks lol. Great job and great videos totally on board this build :-)
This would be insane to buy from the big guys...seriously this should be how they sell them from the factory! Amazing work! Oh and if you dont mind me asking, what would be the build cost for something like you have here?
What rc is this truck based off? What A arms did you use? What where axle did you use? I'm curious about all the parts you used to make this happen. Amazing work!
That was a shame you had to dismantle half of it. The upper tie bars need to be in from the lower arms, and put a bend in them for extra clearance. The front wheel camber is off a bit are they adjustable, looks like too much toe out, the upper arm pivots need to be moved in to get the toe adjustment correct also the front clip would be better if it was a one piece part of the chassis plate, or you will need to heavily brace it at the top, I have watched all your build uploads and the suspension tuning one's, glad to see you back as I have nearly caught up with your running ones also and the different body styles.
Im not sure if you know yet, but the Albany sand dunes are officially closed. If you get caught parked out there, you'll either get a fat ticket or towed.
None worth going to. The only other place is called Blaylock, and it has some sand trails and maybe one or two very small dunes, but it is really blown out from all of the mud four-wheelers.
I want to get into building my own rc trophy truck, can i find the building plans somewhere? I do love to build an,evo model of that could be made possible! Would love to hear from you!
Bru...you need to patent your design and get them mass produced, you'd be rich and we'd all get to enjoy your works of art!
5 years later and I think the commercial version called UDR
This "behind the scenes" video was awesome! You are a skilled fabricator my friend! I haven't built a truck from scratch in years.
Dude you're on like every rc vid I watch lol
Lol those little jacks are so cute
im so happy that youre back love youre content !! i have a traxxas slash 2wd and now im a noob at this hobby and when i watch you im like damn 1 day im gonna make a truck myself just like you :D keep up the good work man!!!
I really didn't expect this affort to make such a truck, very impressive! Awesome work!

It's very beautiful,I'm doing it, like you're the first one
That's nice. I ended up with about 10 lbs of Titanium 1/8" tig wire and have been thinking about doing this..
cool man, i like your work, and it's good to get a first hand look at the creative process.
u r the best Truck builder in the world !!!!! u new truck was so hot !
I wanted to see how you started the first welds. Not starting with a half made portion. If your going to start from just a pile of rods, it would be nice to see how you started. Not showing a built lower portion then going from there.
This is sick!!! I want to see a realistic front I beam truck now lol
I love the project I'm a beginner in automodelo I really liked your videos

I know I’m late to seeing this but my son and I have been getting into rc and having a blast I’ve always wondered if you could fabricate your own rc as a fabricator for a living it was only natural to think that lol anyway great video now I have a whole new rabbit hole to dive in. I just found your channel and I am inspired to say the least! I would really like to start doing this and I have a question. Are you using retail RC chassis/parts to start with or is that custom too?
Really enjoy your builds, man.
miss this guy...
Great video man.
Great job as always man.
nice build!
do you want to share wich parts you use for front and read axle and drivetrain?
would love more details on it
This is really cool.
Where did you get the rear trailing arms the rear swey bar and complete diff and rear axel
This is cool
out of curiosity, from what rig is the rear axle?. thank you for this amazing video
Face revel? Loved it man!! Also when's a running video of Zeus? Also could you get me a deal on some Metal concepts parts? Also new intro kinda?
Sir you are an artist :)
Wow your a young buck with some sick skills! I thought some retired engineer build these trucks lol. Great job and great videos totally on board this build :-)
Wood Test chassis, Good idea, better than me just welding, cutting, re welding.....
Wow amazing build!
Looking good. Keep up the good work
How did you get measurements for the chassis, I can't find any type anywhere, or did you just wing it
love your vids keep up the good work
man you could make a business out of this - i would happily spend $600-700 on one of these trucks
This would be insane to buy from the big guys...seriously this should be how they sell them from the factory! Amazing work! Oh and if you dont mind me asking, what would be the build cost for something like you have here?
Hi and good job . Where did you get the plans (dimensions) from. from what model is the front and rear differential ?
very impressive
Awesome, very talented!
Gorgeous work or hobby one size I'm your fanda
Nice video
Nice video. Liked and subscribed now. Glad I found your channel. Looks like some awesome stuff your doing.
i respect to ya skill set mate .
Nice work man!
Are you using regular wood glue to build this wooden cage? Or is there something that will setup quicker?
Hot glue
What rc is this truck based off? What A arms did you use? What where axle did you use? I'm curious about all the parts you used to make this happen. Amazing work!

Awesome bro, love the builds
Did you make the front independent suspension and gearbox yourself or is there somewhere you can buy it?
i'm wanting to make my own custom truck wondering what metal you use is so i don't mess it up too bad love the videos by the way
Is that the rear for the yeti or Baja? Don’t want to get those the wrong way.
I love this build planing a build like this myself. What shocks are you using ? Could I get a build list ?
What’s the weight of it I’ve built out of steel before and it tends to be really heavy
Im not sure if you know yet, but the Albany sand dunes are officially closed. If you get caught parked out there, you'll either get a fat ticket or towed.
jamjam man that sucks. I kinda saw it coming though. Know of any other spots?
None worth going to. The only other place is called Blaylock, and it has some sand trails and maybe one or two very small dunes, but it is really blown out from all of the mud four-wheelers.
What thickness of a rod do you use the make your chassis
I honestly thought you just did autigines welds on cages. Didn't think you'd need rod for it.
Where did you get the layout for your roll cage
Where do you get your metal and what size it?
Does anyone know what front piece he used? Like diffs and a arms and that
Nice
I want to get into building my own rc trophy truck, can i find the building plans somewhere? I do love to build an,evo model of that could be made possible!
Would love to hear from you!
Thank you for this! you inspired me to start building a custom rc car. mine still needs alot of work and this will help alot.
Excellent!
