I loved when my parents would come back from a trip and bring us back the spoils. Good on ya for getting Spencer the Godzilla stuff :) Those memories are priceless.
I always have to bring something back for him. I love the look on his face when I hand him a new toy. He LOVES his new Godzilla figures. :-D
Convention shopping is always a lot of fun. New York Comic Con always has a lot of toy vendors to shop at. But the better deals are Sunday when the vendors want to reduce prices to get rid of their stock. I bought a first edition Classics Hordak for $12 in 2016.

I love What if. I have a complete run, everything from the original 70s series up through the most recent mini-series, from last year, IIRC. Over 200 issues.
At 6:58, the third lunch box from the left above the guy's head (next to the Spider-Man/Captain America lunchbox) is the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe lunchbox I had as a kid.
it is good to see you got some time to just walk around and enjoy the con,that it isn't just working.

I bought a "what if" comic the week of BotCon 2016. Part of IDW's Deviations. If Kup had actively stopped Hot Rod from interfering in the final battle between Prime and Megatron in the '86 movie.
Fun! Toy Hunting videos are my favorite. I had those Godzilla toys when I was a kid. Glad you got them for Spencer.

I had Spinjas when I was a kid. They were awesome!
I never had any myself, but had friends who had them. I always wanted my own!
Bought the same exact care bears/madballs crossover solely because of the fact it was the weirdest crossover. I have no other care bears or madballs in collection but felt this urge that I had to own that issue. Great minds think alike when it comes to weird 80s memorabilia.

I love what if comics. I think Disney should do a what if series maybe a cartoon or live action Netflix series. Has potential.

Always enjoy toy hunting vids and I think have that same Godzilla but mine had Mothra paired with him. I don't know if the capsule Godzilla stuff would be good or not for Spencer. As know highly detailed but are solid just don't know on sharp points. Kiryu aka Mecha g3 fits this bill.
Cool comics and I dig the What If books. Hunting the trades of that one.

I would have totally picked up that powerliftin' Don from the Turtle Games line. I got him as a kid from the very first trip I ever took to America. Sadly as a teenager I gave away my TMNT toys thinking they were what was keeping me from kissing a girl. Turns out it was just cause I was shy and socially awkward. Now as a father with 2 boys rebuilding my vintage TMNT collection I realize how wrong I was.

Dan, you're a toy guy. Maybe you can help me. Back in the 80s as a kid I had these toys that were weapons and army things but they opened up and looked just like mighty max toys. For example there was a gun that opened into a playset,etc. Do you have any idea what i'm referring too? Its driving me crazy. It had to be around 1988- 1989 era. Does anyone else know?

Well, there was also quite the SDCC mark-up on this stuff. Doesn't mean they are actually worth that much. ;-) However, MPM has definitely gone up in price the past few years.

that's a steal, $5 for good luck carebear in great condition. woo-hoo we both have sectaurs #1. I'm trying to get all the marvel-star comics series. Animax, sectaurs, silverhawks, etc. I have on the DC side the complete first series of m.a.s.K., missing two or so in the second series.
