Data Activator and Reflex is an incredible addition to the Fabric ecosystem! Great stuff!

Thanks for this video ! but you have the possibilité to fix the refresh rate at every 1 day, why now this setup is not displayed on the set alert panel ?

Like it - but is it part of O365 or power platform premium license cost or seperate product (cost)?

It's part of Fabric, you purchase a capacity and Data Activator consumes resources from that. We haven't published the Data Activator details yet, but the Fabric capacity information is here blog.fabric.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-microsoft-fabric-capacities-are-available-for-purchase -Will

I have an F8 capacity and it allows me to set up alerts on powerbi batch data, and the alert sometimes works once, but then all of the updates on the values seems to stop. Is this typical and do I just need to increase my capacity size? I find it strange if that is the case and if so, why would it allow me to create the alerts in the first place? I was trying to do this with measures on real tables at first, and then when it didn't work I tried creating a test case with the most basic set up and it is still completely non-functional. It seems to pretend to take one data point per hour and the result is always the same in the data activator design pane. I am trying to trigger whenever the sum of a column changes in a very small table that I have a notebook adding a single point to once every five minutes. It worked once and now the sum is stuck even though that is not true when I query the table or look at the actual card in powebi that I set the trigger on.
I understand that this is in public preview... but this is the most basic use case and it just plainly doesn't work.

I don't see "Trigger action" in my Power BI report published in a premium workspace

It's called Set alert now, do you have Fabric activated btw?

    Hi
I've already explored all Dat Activator options described in the video. At this stage, most demos I found (including training lab) mainly use "Get sample data" scenarios. Now I'd wish to be able to use my own data though Get Data option, though it seems it ain't available at this stage, I'm able to create custom similar Package delivery data livestream in KQL Custom App. Data is fed from a custom node js application in Visual Studio Code generating mock data. I simply copied generated KQL ConnectionString & EntityName parameters in my code and let it run. Being able to hook Data Activator would be awesome, any information on when the option will be available would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for trying it out! The best way to connect your own data is via Eventstream. It acts like Eventhub in Fabric, and you can route events to Data Activator from there. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/data-activator/data-activator-get-data-eventstreams - Will

Is there an API for Data Activator? We should like to be able to create these via API for embedded scenarios.

Not yet! It's on our roadmap to provide APIs for this. If you'd like to give us more details or feedback, please post on ideas.fabric.microsoft.com or community.fabric.microsoft.com -Will
