THIS IS AWESOME! ITS SO 80’S THAT IT FEELS MORE 80’S THAN THE ACTUAL 80’S HONG KONG MOVIES! AND THATS NO DISRESPECT TO ANYONE BECAUSE I LOVE 80’S HONG KONG ACTION CINEMA
You guys nailed the look and style PERFECTLY!! I can't even pinpoint how you did it, everything just meshes perfectly. Music, sound design, camera work, picture quality, editing, everything. And the fact that you went to those locations and actually reproduced Jackie's escalator stunt?? Wow.
This absolutely needs more views! It perfectly captured the style of the old HK flicks! Just found this by accident, while searching for another video. :D Super gemacht, Leute! :)
There are really a lot of talented martial arts teams on youtube. But this short has so much heartblood in it, it's one of the best I've seen in a while. And I'm counting commercial productions as well. It shows so much lvoe for the genre. Und das ihr aus Deutschland kommt, das ist das Sahnehäubchen! ;)
Hello Sir :) Thank you for creating your youtube channel to share your passion and hard work for martial arts with us. I’m glad that I found this short film as it reminds me of the 80s Hong Kong action movies. As a fan of Bruce Lee, Shaw Brothers, Golden Harvest and Fortune Star movies as a kid this is beautiful and keeps alive the old school kung fu fight scenes which I love 🙂 Thank you for your time and effort always take care :) I hope to see you make a box office film with the Martial Club team and take the world by storm 🙂
Greate Guys! realy old scool recreation.greate perfomance! awesome also the the police story location and the recreation of the stunt ;-) thumbs up! nice ending :-D
Whoever did the work on this my hat goes off to them. Great timing, martial arts, and cinematography. This should have way more views. Keep up the great work!
I love this short film. The action is top-notch and the 80:s feel to it is perfect. I really wish that you guys make a feature-lenght movie in this 1980:s HK movie style :) Hong Kong barely make this kind of movies anymore, so you guys really could bring this old-school action back to the big screen. :) Two thumbs up!!
AWESOME!!!! I grew up watching kung fu movies and practicing kung fu too and this is by far the best remake ever!!! The views are not enough... this is awesome!!!
Fricking awesome! You did an amazing job on capturing the 80s feel, and they details. My favorite moment was an homage to Shanghai Express at the end (Samo and Cynthia Rothrock bit). I'm jealous you got to film at the infamous 'Police Story' mall, and your shot-for-shot work is great! Keep up the good work!
This is the greatest thing anybody has ever made... just so you know, I shouted "YESSSS" at my laptop when you did the Police Story escalator jump :D :D :D
Wow this is simply superb, ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON tribute to 80's hong kong martial arts flicks. is pretty much like a jackie chan, sammo hung kinda lucky stars movie, light and fun and fantastically fast crisp fighting. Would love to see a sequel to this or some more 80's style action ^_^ the sound effects are spot on and the music! :D
you guys could have a career as actors or movie directors. this shit is some grade A shit! you nailed the whole 80's hong kong vibe haha. even the music is original but sounds just like it was made long time ago.
This needs a million views.
