Between the 2 terminals you have to do police checks again because my layover is only 1hour
I came today at 8:30pm out from the plane, and it took me 25 minutes from 2E to 2F with security and all, i didnt take no tram, only by walk, a bit fast paced
Which hall of 2F?
Did you travel with Air France? I'm trying to see if I can have a backpack as my accessory item and the carryon as my luggage. Not sure how strict the size limit is for accessory?
Yes, I have travelled with AF and as per my experience they are bit strict on Size and weight of the checked in luggage. In My case, They just take a look on the carryon and accessories.

I'm heading to Oslo from New York and will transfer in CDG. I just found it takes so long to transfer in between 2E and 2F. Good that I have about 2 hours to do it. Hope I don't get any issue there.
Yes, 2 he is decent time and it should be fine if everything goes normal.

Do you know if it is possible to transfer between halls of Terminal 2e without having to pass security on a transfer? I have 7 hours to kill in the airport as my flight has been delayed. It would be nice to see all of the halls. Thank you.
Probably not but Not sure , it depends on type flight and transit, you can explore it.

Hi, It all depends on the terminals and their hall for connecting flight as distance vary accordingly
I'm going to Oslo from São Paulo (GRU) through CDG. My terminals are 2E -> 2F. This video helped me and I have 6 hours of connection, so it's a lot of time! It is possible to go walking?
Hi,
Terminal 2E has 3 gates named K, L and M.
Gate M is farthest from 2F and has to go by transit train or bus.
Same for Gate L.
From Gate K, you can go to 2F by walk as it is nearest to 2F.

Yes i had it during my visit so probably it will be. I believe it might also depends on your source and destination of your transit.

@@RizZaTV I think it depends on various factors and one of them is your source and further destination. What i know is that if you are coming outside of Europe or leaving Europe then PP check happens at CDG.

Hi bro, I am travelling to London on a student visa holding indian passport, I have a connecting flight at this airport and I have 3 hrs 15 minutes layover time , may I need any transit visa here ? And may I have any baggage checking ?
Hi, You have to pass through the security check for connecting flight and probably you might also need the transit visa but I am not sure.

Yes, There was passport check in between. I think this required if you are coming or leaving European country but may also depends on your origin and destination country too.

1h15 minutes is that enough from terminal 2E TO F. cause when flight land in Paris will take time to open airpalne gate andbus and passport check and walking.... THANKS
Hi, If everything (gate, passport check and shuttle) takes normal time then it could be fine but bit tight.
Although I also had the same layover and was able to manage within time.
If there are long queue at Passport check then may be You can try to request other passengers to allow you go ahead.

Was your checked luggage 🧳 transferred to your connecting flight by the airline?
I will be arriving at CDG terminal D and taking a connecting flight from terminal E. My layover time is 2H-45M, I hope I will have enough time.
Hi, In my case luggay was transferred to connecting flight and in general most of the airline do this.
You may check this with your airline as well.
2h45M is more then sufficient for the transfer between the terminal.

They need ba transit visa if connecting flight jan sa CDG airport?
I traveled from India Norway via Paris and had Schengen visa so didn't required any transit visa. I believe normally transit visa not required untill you are not going outside of airport but it may also vary depending on your your issuing passport country.
Hi there do i have to take the train inbetween terminals? I have 1.45 hours in between flights! Is that possible as boarding is 30 mins before so only 1.15minutes to be in time for boarding or will they wait some

Hi, I am not sure about which 2terminals you have to change but still i think you have decent time for the transit/transfer so should be able to reach from one terminal to another.
I don't think they wait for passengers but in case next flight itself is delayed then you may get more time.
There is shuttle bus and train between the terminal but it all depends on your from and to terminals.
@@NorwayToIndia we arrive at 2E and have to get the correspondence flight from 2F! Is it more difficult to walk from one terminal to the other or should we take the metro? Is it good to find when you don’t speak any french or English just spanish? Do we have to take the metro or can we walk as well?
@@susisusi4372 I would suggest to take the metro. Whole transfer path is well signed so you just need to follow the yellow sign(you might have seen in this video) for transfer and believe me, you will find it very easy. Terminal 2E has three halls K,L and M and 2E(M) is farthest from 2F while 2E(K) is nearest to 2F.
You can walk from 2E(K) to 2F but from other hall of 2E(L or M) you have to take metro since those are bit far from 2F.

@@susisusi4372 I know your travels were a year ago but were you able to make it to your connecting flight in time? Because we have 1hr 10mins layover and am extremely nervous we won't make it.
will they check the passport if you’re only connecting?
Passport check happened in my case when I had connecting flight. I think PP check normally required if there is change in terminal or you are coming outside Europe or leaving Europe.

Hi, Passport and visa check happens when you are coming out of Europe or leaving Europe. I am not sure but I think if you have connecting flight within same terminal there should not be any check.

Hello, I am not sure but I think it won't be allowed to go outside of Airport if you do not have visa for Europe entry. So check on official website for transit rules
I have a layover of 23 hours and my flight arrives at TERMINAL 2E from bangalore and departs from Terminal 2F to Porto. I have a Schengen visa with me as well. Can I leave the airport and if yes should I leave from terminal 2E ..Any help please ?
Do you have transit Schengen visa or regular Schengen visa?

Hi i am travelling to florence via paris. My connecting terminals are 2E and 2F..i need to get immigration done in CDG and my layover time is only 1hr 55mins..is this time sufficient? Connecting flight is at 10pm
Hi, CDG Paris airport is usually a busy airport so if you plan and know the transfer route then you can manage your transfer smoothly.
Transfer time also depends from which hall of Terminal 2E you have ie K or L or M as distance vary from these Halls
Gate K is nearest to 2f while M is farthest
I think 2 hours should be good enough for transfer as I manged this in 90 minutes

I had shuttle from Gate K but not sure about from Gate L. Gate L is in middle so you can check all the transfer Option on CDG Paris website for this.

Hi, I think if you have connecting flight then baggage is taken care by the staff and you will get it at your final destination. Do you have two different airlines for connections?

@@karinagonzalez9355 hey yes, if they are 2 different airlines then you have to collect luggages first and move to the departure check in stall
How long did it take to go from terminal 2E to 2F?
Approximately it takes 30 minutes(walk+ shuttle) but in between, passport control may takes some additional time and that may vary depending on number of passengers.

I think there will be passport check so you need to be fast to do everything within 1 hour. Do you know between which terminal your connecting flight will be?

@@PedroBrandaodrums It could be tight but will depend on the passenger crowd at that time, If you get your seat in first few rows then you can save coupe of minutes from exit of the flight to start for connecting flight. Also if there will be long queues at passport then request other passenger to allow you to go ahead.

I think no transit visa required as far as you remain within the Airport boundary. Check the official website of airport for more details

1 hour should be fine but paris airport is crowded so you need to make it fast. Train can be preferred as distance is bit long.

Hi, There is Passport check between 2E o 2F. If you are going outside of Europe from Paris then passport check will required.

There are three hall in Gate E(K, L ,M) and hall M is the farthest from 2F, It took around. 30 minutes to walk and travel and additional 20 minutes for passport check( obviously this time may vary depending on the passengers) by shuttle from M to F.

In best case , you may even get fast transfer . I was with my kids so it was bit slow as you can understand.
@@NorwayToIndia I ve 45m, I called the customer service they told me it should be sufficient but I am concerned. I will take insurance in case if something happened. Still don't know in whish Hall from the three we will land.
Hope for the best, if your flight will be from Hall K or L then definitely it will be less time as compared to M

Rest it all depends on the rush at that time and time taken by passports control

@@priontomuqtadir7309 I believe you have schengen visa then probably you can go outside but if you have connecting flight then re entry would be kind of fresh entry and may need all security and passport checks again. Im travelling from Tanzania to the Netherlands and i have to transfer from terminal 2E to 2F and have a 6hrs layover but on my ticket it only shows the terminals not the halls, how will i know this? Im so nervous as am traveling alone and have never had connecting flights ever
Hi, Usually hall and gate are decided some time begir the flights schonut you can check the history of your flight that usually on which hall same flight land and next flight take off.

I am saying that you can check the landing of past flight by flight number that on which terminal and hall usually it having landing and takeoff so you can get the high level idea about it
