Im 51 and dying of a heart disease. I wish our kids could understand how much our music shaped our lives. How much we learned from all those songs. The lessons that those songs taught us. Today's music is lacking that. We heard a song and we ran out and bought the album. We saw something going on in the news and tomorrow there was a song about it. Music was precious and it was an escape as well as an expression and experience. Our kids have missed out on all that! So sad!

I went to their concert and it was so incredible, the members of the band are a lot different in real life than I have imagined them to be! When Alphaville released this album, I was spending my first Season in Rio...Big in Japan and Forever Young packed the dance floors and brought down the house every time. A brilliant song for a brilliant time in my life....
