The Stihl is a saw that a homeowner could push through on the dogs with a dull chain, the Husky will run faster and smoother than the Stihl on higher rpms with a sharp full chisel chain, without being dogged in. Like both saws , but love the 3 series Huskies. ❤
Yea those bars aint too awful bad imo. I kinda like em. Thats the last 036 i had, it got sold today. Wont be no more 036 vide for awhile. I think the stihl had the better chain of the two also. Was hard to get a good cut with those huge spikes in the husky. I dont care much for em.
Yeah i ported this one. All my xp's been ported. 346..357..372. Its a ripper for sure. And i don't use a wheel. Not afraid to put it up against any 357 tbh lol. There's gonna be stronger ones but it won't lag by much at all. Used a hyway pop up in an oem cylinder
@@jeremythomas9134 ill keep u in mind if u port for hire. Im ki da floating around. Had donny walker do my lil 346, n mastermind do my new 550 n 562. Gonna send my other 1 back out to Walkers, but still have 2 more to do if ur for hire
@@BruceMyersLBZ believe it or not ive never had my hands on a 2 series husky. And ive worked on a ton of saws. Guess just not many people own them around here idk. And i dont use a wheel man. Ive never felt the need to beings how i dont do any machine work to cylinders ya know what i mean. Just build strong work saws man. Sorry i cant help ya though brother. @@jeremythomas9134 I have both those saws. Huskys seem to be revered whilst the Stihls are crabbed but in your demo, the facts are there to see; Stihl, 2 cuts, 37 and 40 seconds, average 38.5s. Husky 3 cuts. Big spikes mean less bar in the wood. 45, 48 and 51 seconds, average 48s. Means nothing really. Both fantastic pro saws which are a joy to own and use. 🙂

@@jeremythomas9134 Oh, thanks, Merry Christmas to you too. No need to admit defeat, it was just my two penneth. As I said, both great saws; I wouldn't swap either for a more modern saw. Keep up the good work my friend. I've just rebuilt my 357 using a Hyway 47mm top end. I retained the crank stuffers. It seems to run ok, but I haven't tried cutting with it yet. Maybe 18" bar won't show it up. Here in the UK we seem to use generally shorter bars than you chaps in the USA. 24" would be 'a big bar on a big saw' here.

Two highly regarded 60cc pro saws, before everything went strato
Yes sir!
That stihl did a nice cut, but that husky.. man that thing started cutting like it was a snow Strom haha. Good job Jeremy!

Mind a két fűrész szuper ment a like 🤝👍✌

Husky pulls harder. Stihl looks good with that bar!

The 036 cut out both times because those bars are soft and flex
h 357 xp😌
Assuming the 357 is ported, or ate just thst strong? That thing is killi g that 24" rig!!

@@jeremythomas9134 very nice!! U have a recipe for a xp'd 261 conversion? All OEM parts. Still has epa carb on it tho

357 интереснее штиля и порезвее, по мощности слабже его, сравните 036 с хускварной 262xp
🤠👉👍👍👍👍
I’ll keep my 036 keep your Husky
036 winner, no contest. 357 bogs with a shorter bar than the Stihl.
Theyre both 24in bars i believe. And i was fighting the huge spikes on the 357. The 357 was the stronger saw. Hardnose bar on the husky also
