Bro Blackwell, I was at PTP when you preached this wonderful sermon. This is truly eye awakening about where I will spend eternity. Things of this world, there is no benefit . I am sorry you experienced this tragic accident. I have been in the church since 1972. After an accident I found myself struggling. Carry the message to the world of disabled folk like us, including disabled veterans.
So grateful to GOD for allowing bro. Don Blackwell to live on, though in a WC, still preaching the Gospel and carrying on the work of our Lord. What a great lesson!!!! We all need to hear this lesson and apply it to our own lives. God's blessings be on brother Don, sis. Sheri, and the children. Words fail me here.

I am grateful for this lesson, thank you for making me look at self and the things I take for granted. The word of God is a definite two edged sword that penetrates.

Two years ago, I was riding a bicycle and got hit by a car. I broke four verdabray,damaged my spinal cord I have two rods one in front and one in the back, holding everything together.
It took almost 6 months of therapy to learn how to walk.
So many things the pastor talks about, the feelings he had and so forth. I felt.
That video made me realize just how fortunate I am.
Thank you Lord Jesus for all that you have done for me and thank you pastor for sharing your thoughts about your accident.

what a beautiful and honest testimony. So very true that we, as believers, in the USA put far to much importance on things that are NOT of the Spirit, and spend our entire lives so involved on this worldly life, that against the backdrop of eternity.....is a blink, and if we just understood that it isn't about our accomplishments, our family security, great jobs, or even good health. We are all called to be content no matter what life deals us. If we are not prepared for the storm?...then we will not run our race well, and life WILL beat us down and we will be overcome. We are called to a higher standard as Children of God, and we ARE overcomers and THAT is what Holy Spirit empowers us to be. So thankful for this amazing message. I have been so blessed and encouraged by it. Praise God for pastor Blackwell and I know God is still a healer, as I have witnessed it so much in my own life. The greatest healing was understanding that God loves us and is always working all things out for our good and His glory! in Christ name, Amen!

God is completely sovereign. There is nothing that happens that He does not either cause or allow. So while God doesn’t cause bed things, He does permit them in His sovereignty. There is not a molecule in the universe outside of His control.
