I'm in Willowbrook right now and every time I hear the drumline I'm like "what's so special that's happening today?"
We need to teach traditional more often. At Carmel high school it’s all traditional grip. Always has
I 100% agree. I know how to do it but at the time the band director said we were not allowed.

What's wrong with match grip. It's way more easy. I'm starting to use it at times, but I don't see the problem. FYI, this is my opinion so please to trip about it.
@@BiggestHezetation there is nothing wrong with matched, but when it comes to marching and jazz drumming, I feel traditional just fits it a lot better with snare
