Chris Cornell Statue Unveil Event Live at MoPop Seattle October 2018

- This investigative video presented here is an experience journal of my personal experience in Seattle on October 7, 2018, at the MoPop Event, including the crowd of people present for the event, the speeches, the unveiling of the bronze statue of Chris Cornell by his children (commissioned by Vicky Karayiannis by artist Nick Marra) ; also the VIP attendees, as well as Soundgarden members Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron, and Ben Shepard. See Vicky get up close and chat with fans in the front row of the crowd.
Please keep in mind I was taking video and photos from my two cell phones with a tripod held over my head for nearly the entire event, I did the best I could under the circumstances. This is for me to remember, and for you, fans of Chris Cornell, who would be interested for history's sake....that is why I went. I would rather have Chris and not a statue, too....I went because I love Chris, not because I wanted to see the circus or the statue. I cried the whole bloody time.
Thank you for watching! Keep the memory of Chris alive - it doesn't take a statue to do that, though.....

I spoke to Lily a little while after this....She is so sweet. It was a nice little moment.
Vicky talks about protecting and remembering his legacy but she is the one forever calling him a drug addict and trying to sue people. Hmm
And the fact that she won't reveal why he actually passed away. He would have had her sued for slander and have her out on the streets begging for bread crums to eat and stayed in shelters without a car and took his kids with him.
Lets also not forget that Lily was left nothing in the WILL. I honestly cant see Chris doing his first born daughter this way. She is the spitting image of her daddy. What evil witch do people believe whispered in his ear constantly to leave your firstborn child out! She has clearly showed everyone what Character she has on social media with her ranting and arguing with fans.If she loved him so much why jump on the phone 2 mins later after finding out he was dead with her insurance lawyer. Money really is the root of all evil.

I feel so sad for his three children: Lilly, Toni, & Christopher. But Viki, I try to give her the benefit of the doubt. But she just continues to do shady things. Suing members of Sound garden, not supporting his eldest daughter, having him cremated less than 24 hours after his death, why? Why do that unless your covering up something. And the list goes on she is a horrible Women!! I love Chris Cornell and I support his children and hope they grow up like there Father. God Willing! ❤️

I'm not trying to stir shit...in anyway,that said,is it just me or does his widow seem a touch.phony in her speech!!? Seems as she is in a hurry and also somewhat going through the motions. To me it just felt as she would rather not have spoken at all. I would rather not have had Chris die ,but she just didn't ring true in her sentiment

So sad and angry today when I heard what's happened on the 20th Aug how could someone do this to his statue I'm in my 30's always regarded Chris as a spiritual older brother and friend hurts that this has happened have so much love for Chris and soundgarden 😥

The statue looks like Kirk Hammett or Howard Stern. Bad taste. They should have hired a real SG/AS fan artist to sculpt the statue
Some say Rick James... Sorry, It's awful...It doesn't do justice ... Chris was a beautiful man...A better/more fitting tribute, (preferably using a different artist imho), would have been of him around early 90s... Maybe the 2nd didn't want the reminder that he was with the 1st at the time... Some also say he would have hated having a statue of himself in the first place given the choice...Who knows...
