Hi Jsil! Breakfast was BRUTAL this morning!! We both had to physically remove ourselves from the food area because it was so amazing! They had an eggs Benedict station, omelettes looked delish and they had the black olive bread as well as a few other artisan breads. Watermelon was super fresh. If I stay here much longer Iโm going to need to buy bigger clothes!!

Hi Iraida! Yes they had smoked salmon & cream cheese bagels at the Coco Cafe and also at the buffet. Capers too if you want to make your own version. Most mornings they had this delicious black olive bread and other artisan breads which I did my best to not go crazy on but sometimes you just can't resist these things. lol
just wondering what is the restaurant situation? was reading some comments on google and saw that a lot of restaurants are still closed. I have a booking for next week starting Tuesday. should I call and make reservation first for the restaurants before i get there? and how did u get from airport to hotel? i was reading it there is no hotel shuttle. and uber doesn't do pick up from the airport. is the room service 24/7?
Hi Mike! All of the restaurants are open except for the lunch buffet and Mediterranean a la carte breakfast for Vantage club guests - they're just open on a rotating basis until they reach full occupancy. You can't make reservations until you have your room number (aka until you check in) but we only made reservations a couple of times and the rest of the time we would just show up. Did have to wait to get into the Italian (the most popular) but it was 20 mins the first time and 45 the next, so we went and got a drink and came back at the assigned time - no big deal.
I booked a shuttle through Canada Transfers (same company as USA Transfers) - I always use them and they are reliable and very reasonably priced. None of the hotels have shuttle services.
Uber cannot pick up at the airport due to the Taxi contracts but you can get an Uber from the hotel to anywhere you like so you may want to just pre-book a one-way shuttle for arrival and then you can take an Uber to get back to the airport after (it cost me $14).
Room service is 7am-11am and 6pm-11pm; otherwise, the Coco Cafe has snacks 24/7.
Nice video. In my opinion, there is a poor choice for breakfast. No natural yogurt without added sugar. There is no smoothie station. No salmon, cucumbers and other fresh veggies. No pastries. Margarine instead of butter. No Salt and pepper on the table
I agree . Went to Secrets Tulum in December and the breakfast buffet was the same . Very disappointed
They didn't have a smoothie station but you could order that to your room and they did have a lot of fresh juices. Most mornings they did have smoked salmon. They definitely had pastries plus there was a good selection of pastries at the Coco Cafe. Thanks for watching!
I think the buffet is something that is going to continue to expand. They had an eggs benedict station the day after I posted this, as well as 'eggs your way' and an omelette station. It will be very interesting to see what this is like in a month's time!
