Im so glad to be in the RGV of Texas this year. 70s and 80s and no rain for months. In the pool in January. Will be near 90 on Monday the 8th.

You need a fridge that runs off propane or electricity for boondocking. We have a small camper w/ no slides which makes boondocking easier.

We had the same thing happen with our fifth wheel over Christmas. First for everything.
I suggest getting a GMRS radio with weather channels for people going to parks or boondocking areas with no cell coverage. The weather station transmits 24/7 the weather conditions in your area.

We actually did great we had to laugh. Talm even asked me to hit the back of his neck to kill the bug. We are out here just wanting to have fun and live life. We have learned.

Yes, it was different. We were so used to having shore power. We are not going to quit. Had it not been for the bugs. The trip would have been so much better.

We stayed in Flemingo last year, but had electric. Sorry you had a bad experience, we loved it(minus the mosquitoes) at Everglades. Boondocking isn't for everyone, glad you gave it a try!
The Everglades is very nice. But the bugs, on the other hand, was an issue. Good thing we had a big bottle of alcohol to rub on our bites.
It looked like that boondocking is a bit of a struggle. I think I prefer to at least have electric. Glad you made it through the experience.
I think the Everglades was a bit to much. We did not plan to be fitting with the bugs. It was rough! I don't blame you!

We’re at Whispering Palms in Sebastian. The park is pretty nice not over the top great but good. Best thing is we’re about 10mins to beach. The town of Sebastian is small very little traffic but several restaurants/bars on the Indian river and Vero Beach is close by

Thank you for taking me on a boondocking Bandit adventure. I have to move to the east coast, I think there are much better adventures out there. Like I said before, I love the rain. Ive experienced it when I was in a tent, it was ok. Never experienced the rain in my fifth wheel yet, hopefully soon. Ive experienced boondocking 2x at Pismo Beach, loved it. Again I love both of your humors, that's part of why I love watching your adventures. Can't wait till the next Bandit adventure!!!!

I have a 300 amh Lithium battery now because our AGM's went dead on us, I also a 3000w inverter and 400w of panels on my roof, when I went to Quartzsite, I was able to run everything on that for a week, accept the air conditioner, need more solar panels for that, also, my inverter you can wire a 30 amp plug to it and plug the trailer into the inverter, you 2 will figure it out if you're going to be boondocking more. And get a bug zapper lol.
Yes, we plan to boondock more. It would of been a much better experience had not been for the bugs.

I hope everyone has worked out in the Everglades. We’re north of there In Palm Beach. There is a few RV Locations here. Lion Country Safari Loxahatchee FL, Vacation Inn Resort West Palm Beach FL and John Prince Park Campground in Lake Worth FL just to name a few if you wanted to stop along the way back through.
Thank you for all the suggestions. We will definitely be using them heading back to Orlando from the keys.
First of all....GREAT JOB! This video reminded me of the early Bandits. Adventures, problems, resolutions...REAL CAMPING...and Tal said , this took him to his element...you got to figure stuff out....and it didn't hurt to have all the "toys"...Also Tal , you're not going to get all 400 watts out of those panels....perfect conditions you might get 60%....and Ashanti...the bath house sink said NO CLEANING FISH, LOL....bandits out...........

I believe the equalizer hitch bars crushed it when I did a tight turn. That bathroom had the worst smell. Make since why the doors was opened.

Aww, thanks for your concern. I was in a bad car accident 29 years ago in Alaska. We were hit by a drunk driver. My girls were in the back, and I was a passenger. I was putting on my tennis shoes when we got hit. My face hit the dashboard really hard. My front teeth had trauma, which caused my tooth to die. I spent the money to fix it, but recently, I had to get more work done on it. The temp tooth snaped within weeks . Now, I'm forced to get something more stable and long-term. The dentist I was working with decided not to help fix the issue. I found an amazing dentist willing to work with me and fix it in a few days. I prefer not to show my tooth situation. I guess that would be just too much of my personal life displayed. Trust it 🙃 looks rather hilarious 😂. If you can picture Lucile Ball when she had a missing tooth... that would be me. Appreciate you and see you back on camera soon.

It was 85 degrees. We did not consider long sleeves but should have.
What bike rack are you using? We have 2 Lectric Bikes and they seem to be too heavy for hitch mounted bike racks on RVs.
I purchased the rack from Walmart.com for $140.00.

Yes we do. All out electric bikes now has air tags. I also purchased a heavy duty cable.

How in the world did you break the break-away switch???
We have three Champion Generators. A 3400, 4500 and 5500. They are good units and their customer service is great if you have a problem.
I have no idea what happened to it. Everything was going wrong on that trip. This is our second champion inverter. We never had any issue with them.

Now this was camping. Felt sorry for the tenters but its part of camping.
Yes, we felt sorry for them, too. A lot of them had kids with them. It was a real camping experience .
You all are not off grid. Being off grid is out in the middle of nowhere. You're just boondocking. Also feel blessed that was a crab, it could've been a Gator.
