I’ve got both, the 5t handles better, but if you want to bash and go out to the doons, the dbxl is my favorite.

I have the DBXL 2.0 just got a month or so ago, and by the looks of the 5t I would agree it probably handles better, it's wider, little lower, and longer...so yeah I could see the 5t handling better...but both awesome....

Thanks for the comparison. I have the dbxle-2.0 and I agree that the 5 T handles better in my opinion. If I had deep pockets I would probably get the new dbxl 2.0, but since I already have the very similar electric version I’m going to save for a kraken vekta5. Great video subscribed!

I just ordered 5t i got dbxle 2.0 theese are the two best 1/5 scales imo either one you pick you gonna have fun regardless love the magna flow body soon grab one

The 5T is more race oriented as the dbxl is more of a basher, I had them both and agree the 5 handles better than the losi dbxl e2.0. NOw,, I see the chassis improvements on the gas 2.0 and by the advertising videos it looks like they managed to make it more stable at speeds and on the air so may need to try the new 2.0 gas at a track to see how it handles, thought the 5T would always be more stable due to the longer wheel base.

That 5ive t looks awesome 👌. I had a hard time choosing between both but chose the dbxl 2.0 as you seen being that it was newer. But for my next rc im thinking 5ive t 2.0 or kraken vekta5 not sure theyre both nice.

Kraken is 2wd, something to consider, myself, I’ll always choose the 4wd, handles better.

Does the dbxl feel much lighter to pick and carry vs the 5T? Horizon lists a 1.2lb weight difference but I would’ve thought it was a bigger difference in weight

Do they have equal ground clearance? I’ll be running in plowed fields that are more like whoops In motocross.

I’d go with the dbxl, I went with 5t and I regret making the wrong choice, my opinion.

What about ground clearance. Does the dbxl chassis sit higher?

It does sit a bit higher, not to much though I think it cause the tires are taller and the shocks sit different on the Dbxl
