I found this video by mistake looking for landing elevation and minimums and came across the categories which I didn't understand when reading the charts! Thank you so much for making that clearer.
@@Aviator738 I'm guessing because he was not supposed to upload a video of him flying the PMDG NG3 before it got released or something like that, so probably out of respect for PMDG, he took down his channel. I don't know if it's true, but his last video I think on that channel was him flying the NG3 some time in March or April.
When you look up the weather, you'll want to know when the actual weather observation was made. Depending on where you are, the observation may only be made every hour or so, which could mean the weather information might be off up to 59 minutes. That would be a good thing to know as the more out of date the info is, the more it may have changed.
@@Navigraphteam Yes, I do of course. All I ever see is a flight plan. I need to find the airport info, taxi routes and ramp numbers and be able to see where my aircraft is on the ground?
I will tell the development team about your comment. We are currently working on a brand new version of Charts that will bring a lot of new features to our app. and for now, that takes all of our time. But I will bring it up.

Thank you from Switzerland..... I like all your videos !!
Thank you Mcyavel!
If I am not wrong Jason has an own youtube channel where he explains Southwest Airlines and 737 operations.
I learned many new things in his videos.
So have I.
You are correct. I watched his channel since March 2020, but something happened to it, so I can't watch it anymore.
@@SSAviation737 yes, i can not find it too. I think he deleted it
@@Aviator738 Yes, he did.
@@SSAviation737 do you know why?

This series was amazing, really helped me understand a lot!
Thank you! We are planning to do more tutorials, the next one will be SID.
Thank you very much for your contribution. I was very interested in this part about the minimum values in the approaches when there is bad weather 👍
Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate comments like this, we had discussions in our office if this information was of any value. 👍
@@Navigraphteam ok thanks
Thanks Jason, this was a very helpful series.
Glad it was helpful!
love the lessons, thank you
😀
Nice video, in what map can I find landing altitude? I've tried too find it but it seems not. I dont know if you showed it.
Hello, it's on the taxi chart. Take a look at the runway end, you will see Elev printed next to the runway. That's the elevation.
"If the weather at your destination airport is 1 hour before or one hour after your arrival?" What does that mean? Surely the weather is always "now"?

How do I open up my charts?
Do you use Navigraph Charts?

Keep supporting FS9 users, please!

You already produce AIRACs for FS9 aircraft addons.
So as long AIRACS are still availible for FS9, everything is fine.
Why can't everyone use just one measure it's so confusing
Yea, that would be good! Who came up with the idea to measure things with feet?
