College Dorm Move In Vlog | Freshman Year :)
I transferred Universities at semester and went from having an apartment to living in the college dorms. I'm in the Honors College housing and I have my own dorm room which is super nice. Today I took you guys along with me while I moved into my first dorm room (after accidentally barging into someone else's room lol). This is only my freshman year, so I'll definitely post dorm tours in future years with my future dorm set ups. Let me know how I can improve my current dorm- I'm definitely looking for suggestions. - Zábava
Best feeling ever when i got the apartment to myself, after my roommate moved out for the second semester. I was a little nervous someone would replace him, but nope.
haha I agree- having my own room is sooooo nice. I technically could have someone move into my room, but we're halfway through the semester so I feel pretty safe.

My room felt super empty when I moved in but I bought a tapestry and a picture collage on Amazon and it helped my room look more like a room. Hope to see you more this semester!

I grew up in Olathe (always thinking I was going to go to KU) but decided to move to Boston for college. Anyway, I hope you’re enjoying college and Im wishing you all the best!

This brightened my day! Thank you so much :) I actually had someone in high school tell me I reminded them of Alaska after they watched the TV series. Boston seems so cool- but then again, most places seem cool compared to Kansas lol. College has been going well. I'm very busy- hence my lack of uploads these past couple months, but it's been a good kind of busy!

When I was in college I opted to stay in my own dorm as well. Idk, I feel like they should have that bunk taken out and placed in storage or just had given you a proper single room. Aside from that, yes your walls need some attention! Maybe you can place a cork board or a magnetic white board or calendar. Also some large posters would be pretty awesome. Maybe of your favorite bands or hobbies (like skateboarding 😝). Either way it will all work out in the end.
Hahah great suggestions! Yeah I really enjoy having my own room. I can hang out with people on my floor but then I can go and just vibe in my room by myself if I want. It’s really the best of both worlds. Since it’s technically a double room, they don’t want to take the second bed out of there, but I’m alright with that. Since its lofted I can still have stuff underneath it so besides being a bit of an eye sore, it’s not really talking up toooo much space.

@@MooreThanaPodcast yeah exactly- it’s different but it’s not awful- just an adjustment having to remember to take my key with me everywhere so I don’t get locked out my room in the middle of the night if I use the bathroom

Does the school have hutches for the desk? They are helpful to put reference books in!
Maybe you can put them together and create a queen sized bed and maybe bring it down a little.
I’ll definitely keep that in mind for next year :)
