This is the case with other composers like Annamacharya also. That is the reason why we find that sometimes the same song is sung in different ragas by different singers. Emayya Rama is a very popular concert Kriti. It is considered one of the epitomes in Kambhoji. There is no way a Carnatic connoisseur wouldn't know that song. So I am not sure which Kriti came first.
