I spent 24 HOURS with the Nikon Z8...

This week, I took my favorite camera as of late, the Nikon Z8 (yes, seriously) on a 24-hour tour of Boston. We were thoroughly impressed with the Z8's flagship sibling the Z9, so we have an excellent feeling its' sleeker, more nimble cousin here will take this hybrid shooting trial in strides!

Just out of curiosity, why do CZcamsrs love to expose the sensor of every camera they touch to the dirty world we live in every chance they get?

4:50 you can set the Non-CPU lens data for older lenses. I have found that on the OG Z6, the IBIS is really good at around 50mm, slightly worse at longer telephoto and a bit wobbly on 24mm or wider.

Is that Waltham?? If so, great to see Massachusetts represented in Camera CZcams. I shot a wedding this weekend with the Z8 that I got on loan from NPS, it’s a super impressive camera with little downside. 1 battery lasted the full wedding day, from 1PM to 11PM, 2439 photos, ended the day with 11% left.

One reason why I never even considered Nikon is everything has left handed threads. I could never get used to this. I wish they would have fixed this years ago.
