I wonder if when Mitch came here he walked up to the people that made fun of him and was like "well now I'm a famous celebrity"
Madeline Castro Fun fact:My choir teacher said her friend knew pentatonix from muddle school and other friends met them at the Texas best singers choir when they were in Hugh school...they didn't noticed until now XD
They could have been there. They were all attending an alumni event. However, I don't see Mitch being the type of person to do or say that. Besides, this took place at the beginning of their career. They hadn't even released their first EP yet at this point.
Plus that was middle school. Those people probably weren't even in choir tbh
@@Lupin788 this was during the on my way home tour before the last show in Texas, part of this is in the documentary.
At 1:02 Scott is like: How the song continues oooh the ceiling got the answer and at 2:04 mitch and Kirstie turns to look at Scott and instinctively know what to do next it is so awesome how they collaborate together and how good at singing they are and they are soooo sweet and by that I mean the whole pentatonix.
Its so funny them trying to adjust to not having Avi and Kevin 😂
@@TheSamuelnewbloom no. This video is after. Which is why they laugh sometimes because they are trying to sing the trio version but fall in to the pentatonix version
@@hernameispekka_Rebecca I guess I’m not 100% sure but the original video of this song is those 3 in high school choir like 15-20 years ago. This might be after they got together, but the original is what made them popular is highschool
@@TheSamuelnewbloom Yep, that's true. The original trio version was before ptx and this was them coming back for a reunion thing a few years later.
I love how they all look at each other and each one remembers the different parts that changed. . . and the way they can read each others faces and points to change show how great they are together!!!
Kirstie did not beatbox😂 her beatboxing is adorable!!
If I went to school there and they came, I wouldn't be as calm as any of them. I'd literally be the weird/annoying one sobbing her eyes out and lip syncing along.
same, my friend went to a Pentatonix concert and recorded Kevin playing cello (in love with Kevin BTW) and I started crying.... 😂
Well they are all alumni so they may had been in the choir with them and knew them already
This is so awesome that they came back to their old high school. Scott is ADORABLE!😍
this is so heart warming, to see them going back to where they started for a bit and perform (more like show off their insane talent :) )
The girls at 00:30 are swooning at mitch as much as the rest of us lol
lol! I sympathize with them, it is hard to remember how to sing a song when you have changed it just a bit. =P It was great.
It must be so weird for them singing without Avi and Kevin.
Thats a steady hand, kudos!
Kirstie is soo short! I forget because usually, she's wearing heels and she's obviously not here but look! She barely reaches Scott's shoulder!
AMAZING!!!
You posted this on the same day as my 46th birthday LOL!
best laugh ever 2:08
I will go to martin high!!
The laugh is kinda annoying, but it's still great!
Because they know what's going on. They have a different version of it that's why they are laughing. It's a reunion. It's not just a performance.
😍
yey! found it! :)
This was for alumni, Avi and Kevin didn't go to MHS :)
where is kevin and avi
@Mad Hatter Well it's because the song is funny to perform XD
Why was the audience laughing so much?
The audience were all alumni of the Martin High School Choir, and many of them were probably in the choir with the Trio together. They recognized where the Trio were having to make changes on the fly to cover parts normally sung by Avi and Kevin in the re-arranged version. Plus, at one point Scott actually says, "Oh yeah, the Trio version," then messes up again and Mitch & Kirstie have to get him back on track. The audience realized this and were reacting normally to it.
I love that the audience was laughing because they knew that Scott, Mitch, and Kirstie skipped the parts that needed Avi and Kevin.
love the profile pic😂😂😂😂
They sung this song before Pentatonix was even formed at a concert when they were in HS. Avi and Kevin wasn’t thought of yet, so they didn’t have a part.
@@heatherroberson8981 At the beginning they stated that they had re-arranged the song to include Avi and Kevin, which was their audition for the Sing Off. At this point, they had become used to singing it the new way, which is why you can hear Scott say, "Oh yeah, the Trio version" at one point.
