Your DIY are so amazing and I'm learning a lot on hair treatment. Just to add to this, when using dehydrating settings, don't go beyond 118 degrees. Anything above will kill the nutrients and enzymes, always go below 118 degrees.
That’s exactly what I was thinking, why turn the aloe Vera into a powder instead of using it fresh. That just killed off all of the nutrients in the ale Vera plant. And it’s super time consuming for just a small amount of the powder at the end.
I wasn’t aware of the powder version. Thanks for sharing. I have aloe Vera plants at home and it’s easier for me to cut a leaf and use it. I live in Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹
Awesome video. I was going to purchase powder on line. But learning this, there's no need to order. I'll just make my own. Thank you for this content ❤❤
Love, love, love this video thank you so much for sharing this video I really need to see this. Aloe vera has been a staple in my hair regimen for 3 years it is one of the ways I keep my girls and myself hair health, strong and growing I will never be without this planet.❤️❤️❤️
Wow!!! I always wondered how the powder was made. Thanks alot. Few months ago I tried your greace routine and noticed 2inchs of growth 👍. Thank you greace is not as bad as people say. I also tried coffee spritz cos I dint have all the ingredients to make a coffee oil however the result was amazing. In one month I got a fuller hair and added length too. Thanks alot your videos have been helpful
I’m amazed. I have purchased power formula from amazon but I did not know that you could DIY it. Thanks for your time showing how to do it. You are so good.
The yellow liquid under the gel of the aloe vera leaf is Latex. In which is good to let it drip out of tgd leaves or have them stand up in a jar so it will run out. Usually leave it standing up for over night the water may turn brownish sign of that latex yellow liquid drained all out. Then rinse them and dry them and go ahead to the next step to what you want to do. Latex is to some people have latex allergies in itching of the scalp and face. That's how you know you can't use Aloe vera if you don't get that yellow latex out. Aloe vera seems to cause my hair to be dry and hard feeling. I have 4c hair and the back bottom half my hair maybe 4b. There certainly may be a difference if using Aloe vera powder of the process you did to make a powder. May try it that way.
Thank you Selina for this. I asked and you delivered. I was so excited when I noticed the notification about your aloe vera powder. This is so easy and very doable. Again Thanks!
So excited to try this! I have a Aloe Vera plant that has a lot of leaves so this will be prefect to keep my plant under control and be able to infuse to oils and creams.
you prolly dont care but if you are bored like me atm then you can stream all the new series on instaflixxer. Have been watching with my girlfriend recently :)
Thanks so much for sharing. Going to give it a try today. I am really looking forward to participating in your hair challenge that starts in a few days. Blessings to you and your family!
Thank you so much for this video. I am so happy you did this. Just 1 question. If we do not have the dehydrate function on our stove or ovens will just baking it have the same effect?
I wish I had Watch your video before I bought some aloe vera power. I just would like to know how many tea spoon or cups do you use in aloe vera, oil, and also Shea butter.
I'm so glad I asked. That didn't seem hard at all and I do have a dehydrate option on my stove. Now, what can we add this aloe powder to (other than the butter you made last time)?
Hey Selina, I definitely want to see how you do this b/c you know I love Aloe. You did a great job slicing the pieces very thin. I don't think I have dehydrate on my oven but that worked great. This looks easier than I expected. I definitely need to try this. FW and have a great day.
I wrote your instructions down. When you make the Aloe Vera Powder how do you use the powder ?? Also I have a basic General Electric stove/oven what temperature would I use to dehydrate my Aloe Vera Leafs ??
yeal! very good! ideas. I am learning so much from you! following your advice one day i will have long beautiful hair like you and your sweet daughter. LoL.

Thanks had to get up and turn my dehydrator down lol

If you don't have a dehydration oven how long will take and what is the temperature for cooking in regular oven
Just put it on the lowest setting. It will depend on your stove

Have you tried wax paper instead of the aluminum foil, will it still stick
What are the main uses of the aloe vera powder?
