Listening to Upper Room always takes me back to a special time in my life. I was so alone without my children. Night after night I listened to Upper Room in my home. Praying, praising, crying, on my knees and face, trusting God. I had no fight left in me but Jesus fought for me. You were there with me too Upper Room. My children have been living with me now for a few years. They are very involved in church and ministry. God is amazing. His timing is perfect.

Never does the bible say one "Stress over it" "Worry about it" or "figure it out" But more than a million times, in clear print, over and over it says "Trust God." Don't let things of this world weigh you down because it's not even yours to carry. He will make a way, He will provide everything you need. Either emotionally, spiritually or financially. He will make a way when there is no way.

Yo creci en la iglesia desde temprana edad pero era religion, yo estaba vacio sin proposito buscando mi identidad en todo menos JesuCristo y luego un dia en 2021, alos 21 años de edad ya estaba cansado de todo y puse una Adoracion en youtube y quebrantado realize la existencia de Dios Padre, de Jesus, del Espiritu Santo, y de la gravedad de mi pecado, Y por medio de un proceso de unas semanas (2-3) le entregue todo. Y ya nunca e mirado para atras porque el que carga su cruz y es crucifixado ya no vuelve al mundo(al pasado). I've struggled with that question for a long time too. I don't know if you still feel this way or not, but I've found that question to be damaging to myself in a way because I don't feel like I'm someone worth being saved, I used to spiral into thinking I was bad, a mistake, someone who couldn't be used by God (not saying that's you, just telling my story). I haven't done a thing to earn or deserve father so why would he make me and love me anyway ya know? Overtime, God showed me that 1) I was created in their image, the image of love, connection, loyalty, beauty etc... which is worth something 2) God never makes mistakes, ever. Every person is designed and made with a unique purpose, so I have to be born for a reason. 3) We as humans may never fully comprehend the "why" of God's plan and that's okay, sometimes asking the question builds deeper intimacy, other times we may become confused because we're leaning on our own interpretations and understanding of human nature.
I want to encourage you, "all fall short of the glory of god". You are not alone in the constant struggles between flesh and spirit. And that's okay, what's even cooler is that you're being vulnerable in your struggle so thank you. These are some of the things that God has revealed to me, but in the questioning, please don't undermine your own worth and purpose simply because you don't know or understand "why". Regardless of what anyone believes, the truth is that jesus sees every human on this earth as someone worth dying for. There is a zealous love that can't be quenched from father until we are with God in heaven, we must be there. That is the why. I interpret John 3:16 to mean that God is drunk in love for us, head over heels zealous, so much so the thought of living eternity was unbearable, the trinity wouldn't have it any other way. We must be with God because each of us are loved that much. It's not because we are needed, we can't offer anything, in our flesh we really can't do anything either haha. The love and joy Jesus has for each of us outweighed the burden of sin and death. Love is the reason, not our flesh or our own doings. That may sound simple my friend, but it is incomprehensible.
I don't know you, but you are my sister in God and I'd love to bless you. I see a hunger in you that longs to know who God really is; not who people assume God to be. I pray that in this time of searching, you wouldn't give up or be content with a sliver of God, but that you would expand, and grow your intimacy with him your whole life. I pray the hand of God over you, that his glory, presence, and anointing would be revealed to you clearly. I pray joy for your hardships, that Father will wrap his arms around you no matter what you face, through trials and triumphs the joy of god will never burn out. I pray that you would be filled, drunk in the holy spirit. That you will encounter signs and wonders, and that holy spirit uses you greatly. Romans 8:13-17 keeps coming to me as verses for you and I'm not sure why but maybe you do lol. I pray that you would truly encounter the love of God everyday, no matter what it looks like. You are so deeply loved, I promise you! I encourage you to keep going, dive deep into your faith so you don't look back on the world, everything is worth it. I feel God saying that he's really proud of you, you delight him, and he smiles on you.

Hi, Rebecca. One thing you might want to look into is Transformation Prayer Ministry. It's about allowing Holy Spirit to replace the lies we believe with His truth, because what we think is true isn't always what we believe is true. This process allows Holy Spirit to address those places where our belief system doesn't line up with His and speak His truth to transform our minds. Bless you sister!

I love how you guys are teaching people how not to just praise and worship God with their mouths (because we owe Him), but to LOVE GOD with all their heart, soul and body (because we love Him and we understand He is worthy of all our love).
