I'm not sure if I've done a video on them, I probably should have by now!

    Hi Christian,
I had a question regarding seed germination. I’m trying two methods( baggie and the closed container method) I have them outside in the sun to get enough heat but it seems the bags and the container get cooler at night. I live in Jacksonville. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help and love your videos.

I have a Question for remote germinating palms
Of course deeper would be better,
what is the minimum pot depth for those seeds when germinating?
    Will 7 inch work?
I think stuewe is the best ideal pot for germinating palm seeds but sadly I can't find similar pots in my country.

Im sorry I did not see this earlier! I would say that 9-10 inches would be best for these deeper rooting palms. Have you asked them if they will ship overseas?

What is that mix? Perlite and coir?

I got a few different types of seeds while in S. Florida but I don't know what they are? If I send you pics, do you think you might be able to identify them?

What potting soil would you recommend for Bismarckia seeds once they've produced a root?

Halley Ferrell I would say if you have access to Pro-Mix, you can mix 50 percent perlite with 50 percent promix, or you can add some rocks or sand to give it some weight. Bismarcks will want very good drainage so adding sterile rock media is very beneficial.

How much can you make every year selling palms wholesale? And what type of palms are those?

    • @TheCfkingfish

It really depends how much land you have and your growing and marketing abilities, as well as ability to adapt to emerging markets. I would say it is not hard to make $35,000, but making over $100K US is very hard. Large wholesale farms, if you are the owner, can make you more money if you diversify your plant species.
