Man the 883 iron is still one of the best looking Harleys ever. Only few come close imo.

First time rider here. Going to buy the 883 and work my way up to the Softail Slim. I absolutely love that bike.
Yerrrr ahh haa. I can testify that the paint is so easy to scratch especially in matte paint scheme. Stock exhaust is like pushing fabric material through a sewing machine. Vance and Hines slip ons are perfect for this beast. Iron 883 looks good, sounds good and most importantly its fun to ride! I purchased my iron after watching MK87 videos and a few others. The bike puts a smile on my face everytime i start the bike and hear the compression and engine kick over followed by the vtwin rumble. Best of all riding the beast 😄
Just bought the 2021 iron today. Not thru a Harley Davidson dealership which btw saved me thousands!!!! It's such a cool bike. I love it
it was so good to see an honest review of the iron 883 so many push the fact they are just a base for custom add ons and big bore kits good to see respect for what is the original sportster

great vid, lots of good info. Just looked at a forty eight, always like the 883 too and they are sweet, makes me want to go get one of them even more now but the R7 jsut came out and that looks like a lot of fun too, decisions decisions
I just got my 48 and I luv it. Pretty hard to find neutral at first but it's getting easier to find it each time.
Been riding mine for quite a while, getting neutral is still not easy. In comparision getting neutral on my Kawasaki is so easy.
I LOVE my Iron 1200!!!!!

But, I like how they make them so simple so you can easily customize and upgrade them. I've never seen a sporty that looks like another one, unless it's all stock. I wouldn't really wanna upgrade it if it came with a 6 speed.
Great looking bike. I’m all scrunched up on it though. Low Rider S as well but I can make adjustments on that.

I have a 2020 Iron 883. I like, but plan on trading up by end of year. Hopefully for a FXLRS.
Am going to look at a nice 883 this weekend. I love the design, the shorter wheelbase but ive never actually seen one up close and didnt realize just how small they are. I am about 5’11/6’0ft ? Not sure if the bike will be too small but i guess we will see.

Great vid! Hi from England.... I decided late last year that I was going to get a bike licence and get an 883. Then I told my mom. It would appear I am now not going to get a motorcycle of any description. I’m 46 💁
At 48 and still asking mum permission to buya bike..lol.
The streets get bashed but I test rode an 883 and the Street 750 years ago - walked out with a street hands down a better bike... I then upgraded that to a Street Rod 750 which was a fantastic bike! 4 and a half years I had them both. Just upgraded to a Fat Bob 2018 but the Street Rod especially will always be held up high in my opinion. I honestly dont get the hate the streets get other than theyre not traditional harleys or when people compare them to bikes that are $1000's more...

Can’t wait to ride mine. Def not going more than 10 over the speed limit. I’m all set. I just want to cruise and enjoy the ride. I barely speed in my daily driving car. No more than 80 when I’m late for work but on a bike no more than 70. I’ll be riding solo as well I don’t know too many ppl with bikes and the ones I do know are crazy af. I will not be able to keep up with them going over 100. I’m all set lol

Had the 2020 iron 883 and didn’t honestly like it. I trade it in at less than 500 miles. I don’t recommend it even as starter bike. Knowing what I know now I think start either on the iron 1200 or a street bob.

@@CReid1989 man honestly you get excited about your new Harley then you get on the road and you realized the bike is just not enough. When you go over 60 to 70 mph forget about it man. Highway riding is really not an option unless you want to ride very uncomfortable. I really think spending extra few thousand will saved you from going back to trade it in later on because you will sooner or later. I own a low rider s now and I should had bought that one from the get home. Could had saved me the money if I would of know better. Everyone has different opinions. I don’t hate the bike is just not what I expected or wanted out of a bike.
2020 883 was my first bike and it has been everything and more I wanted in a motorcycle.
Add a SE intake, & replace the power choking slip-ons w/ some $160 Radiant Cycles shorties or $350 VH full exhaust is about all you need to do. Make it your first and LAST. A $10k 883 has got everything you need & a $25k BT is not THAT big of an improvement in features you can regularly use.
The sportster line definitely needs a refresh. I don’t want to see the sporty go. They should take a page out of triumphs book and go for the classic modern market. The sporty would kill that market.
Finding neutral on the 883 is annoying but love everything else about it.
And the bike only changed in price🤦♂️

I actually miss my iron, I upgraded to a street bob and sometimes think about switching back 🤦🏻♂️🤔
