  • There is mass confusion regarding the difference between the NCAA and NAIA. I have played in the NAIA and for two D1 NCAA programs so this is your unbiased review of both leagues.

    There are a lot of NAIA schools that can beat D1 NCAA teams. It’s all about how much money you get I went with the money if you are good enough you will go pro

    Division I is the highest classification in the NCAA and collegiate athletics in general. In American football, the FCS is the second highest classification in the NCAA. FCS teams can host non region games against anyone out of NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, or the NAIA respectively.

    if you think about it 0.2% of 60,000 is a better overall than the comparison with NCAA although the NCAA provides more opportunities you could argue the less saturated division the athletes will be alot more known than a highly saturated division there is 2 ways of looking at it in my opinion

    Hello, i got a question for you. I'm an 18 years old centerback from the Netherlands, and just started for a NAIA school on a scholarship. Next year, or maybe the year after, I might want to try and change to a D1 school. Since you did the same, can u tell me a little more on this, how did you get in touch with the D1 school and what are the biggest differences?

    • @InspirebyKhan
      @InspirebyKhan Před 5 lety

      Yan Gromov Godik NAIA, to D1 or D2? Then another big D1...I played all 4 of my football collegiate days at a decent NCAA D2 in Virginia...I saw plenty of transfers. If you ARE an all american, then possibly you can transfer lol, the schools team doesn’t just make room for you. They have plenty of options/other recruits and you ARE JUST ANOTHER PLAYER. The more you wait the more you age, and the less valuable you are to ANY college. You are not special, not even the top 10 recruits get this treatment as though you think you can just hop from one school to another ( VERY UNLIKELY)

    • @InspirebyKhan
      @InspirebyKhan Před 5 lety

      Yan Gromov Godik + YOUR “CLOCK” starts as soon as you start your first day in NCAA D2 and above...so you dont have THAT much time

      Appreciate your support Tyvan. I was forced to in a sense. I think I mentioned it in the video, but after two transfers you have to sit out a year on the field if you want to transfer again in the NCAA. However, there's nothing about transferring to the NAIA and having to sit out.

    I'm basically in the same position as you now, but I'm transferring to my NAIA school in January. I lost my scholarship due to my coach getting fired, so when the new coach came in he cut everyone from the program leaving us high and dry. How is the competition for soccer in the NAIA division? Do you think that you're having a better soccer experience at the NAIA level? I'm not completely sure about men's soccer program at the NAIA level but for women's, there's a lot of quality players that have made national level.

      @elejmizzytheone Před 4 lety

      The first year of college he played for Memphis, decided not to continue with them the next season, transferred to Monmouth on a full ride but got injured, lost his scholarship. Since NCAA only lets you transfer a certain amount of times before you have to sit out a full year, he decided to go to NAIA since their eligibility requirements are much less stringent.
      He did a whole video on it.
