The first part was actually the 1972 pricing game "Double Bullseye," which was an attempt to fix a disasterous pricing game. Double Bullseye was 2 players playing for a car, and it didn't last a week.

I've seen a few episodes of Sale of the Century, and I have to say it was pretty good. It was on in America from 1983-1989. America tried the format again with Temptation in 2007, but they dumbed it down too much, so it was off after one season.

Drew Carey has been host since 2007, but he needs improvement. We still have Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy on the air. What's on Down Under?
