The diuretic effect is negligible and overstated among the public. You are still being hydrated. Consuming coffee maintains fluid balance. Howie is one of the most insecure people in show business, but he's got some level of comedic ability. An ability he's honed over the last 4 decades which is why he's running circles around these two brodudes. His recent appearance on H3 podcast was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
Howie at least isn't afraid too be silly and doesn't take himself so seriously that he can't take a joke. Something Brenda can learn from. Brendan does have the potential too be funny if he could let go off the ego and be more self deprecating. And regarding Howie being insecure that is basically every comedian the difference though is the good ones don't let that insecurity define them and ruin their comedy as a result.

It's not just Chin, all the podcasts in LA are run by total amateurs. Howie is right, Chin does not need to be adjusting levels physically, once it's set he could do the rest in post. He could even set it up to take samples from their off-air conversation and not have to touch jack-shit through an entire recording. But then Bapa wouldn't have him there, that's why he's tweaking an unassigned FX knob trying to look busy. Have you ever seen how they take phone calls on YMH? They pull out their phones, put it on speakerphone and put it next to the mic. I get it, they're comics, but they didn't hire comics to produce the show and those producers can't seem to take a fucking phone call. Chin has the same issue, when Sasso called in through facetime there was so much lag you couldn't understand him. If you're in your mom's basement i totally understand, but if you spend all this money on staff and a studio with 4 sets, what possibly could be the excuse after 11 years? They're all just Rogan charity cases who after being given a career decided to emulate him in hiring losers to produce like Redban. But even Joe realized he needed to get a professional at a certain point. Not saying Jamie is any better but it's pretty obvious how clueless these comedians are when a mute button wowed Rogan.

Either way he comes off as a comedic wet blanket. Callen on the other hand, is a real comedian and knows that the insult banter is par for the course for comedians and plays it well, sometimes even throwing up set ups (to allow other comedians to mock him). Schaub is terrified if another comedian finds something to bust his balls about, one because of his ego and two because he is not quick enough on his feet to offer a comeback. I think the seating situation is just not good as well, Callen should be closest to the guest (any guest) and Schaub should be on the side with his lips zipped and let the two professionals do their thing, while he sits there with his hands folded looking confused.
