- 🔴 Bethlen Castle in Cris (in Hungarian Bethlen-kastély) was built between the XIV-XVIII century, in the style of the Transylvanian Renaissance, as a small fortified noble residence. It is considered the most beautiful Renaissance castle in Transylvania.
It has a fortified enclosure in a square plan, with circular bastions at the corners and a square entrance tower, a structure typical of late medieval military architecture, anterior to the castle on the south side.
The residence has two levels, an imposing circular tower (Archers Tower) and an open gallery, with arches, on 15 massive stone columns and an honor staircase. After the construction of the castle, the fortification system was completed with a semi-enclosure with feather bastions.
The castle has always been owned by the Bethlen family, who lived in the castle in the 20th century. Between the two world wars, the residence was abandoned.
The castle has been returned to the Bethlen family and is being renovated. It has been used by the Dévai Szent Ferenc Foundation for 50 years, provided the castle is renovated.

Într-adevăr este foarte frumos am locuit la o aruncătură de băț de acest castel dar nu am reușit să-l vizitez.
Așa a fost munca multă și sărăcia nu a permis deplasarea acuma avem și mașini și bani dar ne-au băgat pandemia asta să nu mai putem merge nicăieri.

@@pavel7333 Am fost, am filmat, dar nu a ieșit prea bine...prea întuneric in interiorul bisericii. Cred ca voi mai merge o data acolo. :)
@@MyTravelChannel-RO așa este e cam întunecoasă eu am fost clopotar și făceam curat în biserică mă îngrijeam de grădină vreo câțiva anu buni pentru o plată de mizerie 60€ pe lună nu aveai nici o zi liberă zilnic trebuia trase clopotele ,săptămânal trebuia reglat și tras ceasul
A fost o viață grea nu am avut noi timp de istorie și alți încasau pe piele noastră.
Dar mulțumesc lui Dumnezeu că acuma suntem în Germania și ne merge foarte bine
