huge pool I went to was very green, I used just shock at first but that didn't completely clear so I had to add floc aswell and that sorted it out over night!
I got the value stream for you, (correct me if I've forgotten something :) ) analyze the pool (puke around if necessary) --> shock the pool until it's clear -->(lag: a couple of days) --> prime the pump --> clear the bottom --> clear the top with a net --> check its ph, add some chlorine --> holla ya boy for the pool work
Mate, you can spread the tripod legs wide, and adjust the individual leg's height to compensate the different surfaces. Some tripods have a hook (i don't know if yours has one) right below it where you can put a bag or anything that can add weight for it to be more planted on the ground.
"New" water for most people comes from a water treatment plant, where similar processes are employed to make drinking water (including flocculant and chlorine). In other words, the water from your taps at one time looked and smelled even worse than the water in the video. :)
My arms got tired just watching this, you must have some serious guns. Great job!! My dad taught me as a kid how to clean pools, hard work, but satisfying 💙
Ikr lol. Living in Scotland even my rich friends (one lives in an actual castle) don't have pools... We just swim in the loch if we want to swim lol xD
I guess it's because it's twice expensive to have one build an indoor one and you need the space for the structure around it. There is plenty of people on the UK woth out door pools and loads outdoor commercial swimming pools as well. I knew used to know few people that had horses but because of the costs of stable food and vets bills they sold them a put the money they got for the horses horses box and all the equipment/ clothing they had for them towards a pool. They saw it as an assest to the house as it put 5.000 -10.000 pound extra on the ask minimum sakes price
They get opened quite late in the year, plus the people who have pools in the UK have too much money for you to explain to them why having a pool doesn't make sense, for the 3 days a year it's hot enough to use
When I was a kid my parents had a round pool and whenever they wanted to clean it they would have me and my brother do a whirlpool and then all the dirt and stuff would go to the middle and that made vacuuming the pool a breeze. Vacuuming one square foot is a lot easier than doing the whole pool.
Insider trick, vacuum to waste always. When circulating the floc circulate on recirculate, if it is a cartridge remove cartridges. Earth filters... I'll keep that one.
This is a splash pool in the US. Look up Rick Ross pool. It's the largest residential pool in the US. You could fit 5-6 of these pools in it. The mansion and pool on 250 acre's, was originally built and owned by Evander Hollyfield. Just his electric bill alone was $120,000 a month. He took out a mortgage in the place, and fell behind on payments. Rick Ross bought it for 1/3 of what Evander paid to build it. 😌
Hey buddy, handy tip if you ever drop anything electronic in the water take the battery out ASAP as its the electricity from the battery that kills the circuit boards not the water, dry out and should be OK.
For a time, we had one of those 3,000 gallon small soft-sided portable pools with the inflatable top edge..just 10 feet across and only a hair over 3 feet deep....even at that tiny size, I had fits with the optical illustion of the pole appearing to bend under the water, so it was really hard to judge where to place the vacuum! ;-)
Wow it takes along time to clean. You really did a nice job. It looks easy, but if you think about it it is not there is alot involved to cleaning a pool.
Hey pool guy! What do you do in the winter for work? I was just curious if you had another job you did in winter? What part of England do you work in? This is probably the biggest pool I’ve seen you work on!
Is the regualtion in the uk for commercial and residental the same as in needing dual main drain in pools rather than one if its connect tobthe suction side of the pump, like it is in america
where does all that stuff go that you hoover? how much is collected for a pool this size? I imagine that goes to some filter you then have to dump and clean? is it nasty sludge from the algea? Lol camera couldn't resist taking a dip.

Hoover is a brand of vacuum.

When you Floc the pool, are you connecting the vacuum pump to the pool's filtration system? Or just pumping that water and dirt out entirely?
I was thinking the same, would pump out quote a lot of water for the time it takes to vacuum that size pool. But better than clogging the sand filter
Insider trick, vacuum to waste always. When circulating the floc circulate on recirculate, if it is a cartridge remove cartridges. Earth filters... I'll keep that one.

Brilliant video, I like the longer type one's you doing, love a big pool like that

when letting the floc sit do you keep the pool running for those days?
You should get an under water camera that you attach to the top of the Hoover!!!!!
Strikes me as one of those jobs that has a lot of satisfaction when done properly.

Do you filter the water when you vacuum?
How to you get the pool from not dropping in level is the pool on? Are you dumping the water when you vac?
Hello. New subscriber here. Great videos.
Something about vacuuming a pool that’s so relaxing.
Also, love the water colour. What colour is the finish to get that water colour?
I wonder that too
I think the water itself is pretty transparent, that blue tone likely comes from the pool walls and floor
