I think Doc would like the cutters that the old German company LŌWE makes. Knipex actually rebrands them and sells them under their brand too, well one of the ones they offer. But those Milwaukee look nice.

I got one of the cheaper ones for pex, but us it on a lot of things. It is great.

I have husky tubing cutters but that’s a great use for them. I get the science diet oral care food and use that for my dogs treats mostly. There are a few that take too long for them to eat so this is perfect

I use the Klein 63035 cable cutter on bully sticks from Costco for my pup. A full size stick is too big for her, but 1/2 is just right. I found the extra leverage/arm length lets me get through them like butter.

I have a larger Eclipse ratchet cutter for PVC plumbing pipe - it's great if you're installing waste pipes, a perfect clean straight cut every time.

I got the Knipex 90 20 185 and they’re super comfortable and compact. My coworker has those Milwaukee and they’re bulky inside an engine bay.

The only time someone, other than a family gift, sent me a free tool was from Husky (aka Home Depot I assume). I didn’t own any other Husky tools, and still don’t, so it was odd to me. The tool was just being introduced, and was their version of the Klein Tools pipe cutter Doc showed in this video. Ironically I’ve never had a need to use it!

For some reason my dog was growling at me as I was watching this.
I am more of an automotive guy , any reason why this tool wouldn’t work well on rubber fuel line and larger heater hoses?

They work great on rubber fuel lines. Perfect in fact. Not sure if you could get a straight cut on a large heater hose. These claim a 1" diameter upper limit, but any tube that compresses will cut crooked. But close enough to clean up the edge with a utility knife.

      Thanks Doc,
As I could speak for myself and others, you have no idea how much we appreciate your time and insight putting these tool video demonstration’s together.

I use the husky ones on hard pvc pipe and connectors. The Milwaukee look tougher than mine. Tubing cutters are awesome and save tons of time especially the ratchet ones

Also if you use the exposed blade to cut you are pushing towards the blade

doc you don't worry on cutting those second chew sticks so small? I feel like my pup would bite that twice then just choke on it

love the alternate use for these. Do you think they would cut bully sticks too? My band saw smells like pizzle from cutting these down for my dog.

I use the Klein 63035 on bully sticks. Clean cut, works like a charm.

A perfect solution!I thought about using my larger Klein cable cutters but the ones in the video are so smooth and precise. I figured the Klein 63035 would be like pruning branches.

@@lastbesttool I like the leverage, allows for a smooth snip. And I’ll admit… I didn’t think of using anything with a ratchet function. So ya got me on the mechanical advantage. Lol
